New mums - ever heard of the term ‘mummy MOT’ and wondered what it means?

It’s often used to refer to a postnatal check, which assesses your tummy, core and pelvic floor after birth. This can be particularly beneficial in helping you recover and regain strength and fitness after pregnancy and birth, and it can address any issues to prevent further symptoms later in life. That’s why we recommend every new mum has a pelvic health check once they’ve been cleared by their doctor (usually around 6 weeks postpartum), even if you’re not experiencing any symptoms.

So here’s your reminder to take care of yourself during those first few months after birth. Your body has just done something incredible – and it needs some TLC too ❤️.

Our spinal mobility classes are back by popular demand! 🎉

So if you’re struggling with posture-related discomfort, back pain or just want to improve your flexibility, strength and stability, come along and give our classes a try.

Led by osteopaths Felicity and Jacqui, these sessions are ‘pay-as-you-go’ so you can attend one class, several or all of them – the choice is yours! We just ask that you book a place for your chosen date via our online booking calendar as spaces are limited. For those that wish to book the entire block of sessions, we’ll discount the cost to £10 per session as a thank you.
