A big update about a little dog 🐕🖤🤎

Ruby ❤️ is a Toy Terrier, my first toy terrier to grace Pool4Dogs with her presence 😊

In July she was referred to Cave Veterinary Specialists to have investigations after presenting with instability and lack of mobility and sensation through her left hind limb.

She was diagnosed with ANNPE (acute, non-
compressive nucleus pulposus extrusion) this meant her spine had been bruised by impact from a fall and spinal fluid has ruptured from her disc impacting her nerve response and sensation through her left hand side.

Her family were advised to let her rest and recuperate and start rehabilitation with the help and support of the Physiotherapists at the Win Clinic

She was then referred to me for treadmill therapy where she soon got the hang of it with the encouragement of her cheerleaders 👏📣😁

I hope everyone is looking forward to the Pool4Dogs Christmas party next week on Wednesday 17th December ☃️❄️ drop in between 3 and 7pm.

There will be mulled wine, mince pies and sprout and liver brownies available :)

We will also have a raffle to help raise funds for Rottweiler Friends Rescue & Soul Man Sanctuary
Some of the prizes include home made Christmas cake, festive wreath, dog bags, doggy stocking and lots of other prizes.

We will also have some of the dog bags on sale made by the talented Toni Wittamore and a dog treat shop courtesy of Big Dog Little Dog: Puppy and Dog training

I will look forward to seeing you all there :)

The hardest part of my job is saying good bye to the wonderful dogs I work with and Cloud was no exception ☁️

Cloud reached 15 years old and clocked up 3 birthday parties at Pool4Dogs ☺️

The lovely Red ♥️ was in today for his Hydrotherapy session 😍

He is looking for a local foster home if anyone can offer him a warm foster home where he can attend regular Hydrotherapy sessions 🙏
