⭐ GOODBYE ⭐

Yesterday I said goodbye to a huge part of my heart.

What started as a small idea and a big leap of faith grew into something that completely filled my heart. Week after week I had the privilege of welcoming so many incredible families and watching your little ones grow from tiny babies into confident, curious toddlers. Being part of those precious early moments - the wobbly first steps, the first words, the first “How Do You Do?”s - has been something truly special.

The endless cuddles, the laughter, the happy dances, the tiny hands reaching for mine, the shy smiles that slowly turn into big excited waves, the way you all welcome me into your families, it’s more than a pleasure - it’s a privilege. It’s been an honour to have been trusted to be a part of your little one’s precious early years.

These classes have never just been about songs, bubbles and activities. They’ve been about connection, support and community. Seeing friendships form between parents, watching little ones gain confidence week by week, and sharing so many laughs together has meant more to me that I can properly put into words.

To all my amazing children - thank you for trusting me, for loving me, and for sharing your smiles and laughter with me. You’ve taught me patience, joy, and how magical the small moments really are. Saying goodbye is incredibly hard, and I will miss you more than words can say.

To my wonderful families - thank you for your support, for your kindness, for welcoming me into your lives and for making the Hub feel like home. I’m so grateful for every memory we’ve shared and the beautiful community we’ve created together. You’ve made this journey unforgettable.

Walking away from this chapter is incredibly emotional because it has been such a big part of my life and my heart. But I will always be so proud of what we created together and the memories we made along the way. To everyone who has ever walked through our doors - thank you, from the deepest part of my heart.

So now, and I can’t believe I’m actually writing this, it’s time to say goodbye.

A big wave up high, a big wave to the side, a little wave in the middle, and a great big clap.

My darling Kelly,

I cannot possibly put into words how much you mean to me.

When I first met you 5 years ago at Matilda’s very first Baby Sensory session I knew you were special but I could never have predicted what a huge impact you would have on my life.

The thought of starting my own Toddler Sense business was utterly terrifying and I remember reaching out to you hoping you could provide a few pearls of wisdom that might help me navigate the scary start of business ownership. We went for that first coffee (and slice of cake - obviously!) and I thought that if we worked together we could make something great. And then we moved in to our beautiful Hub, and our families started coming, and what started as great has turned into something magical, and something I could never have even dreamed of.

We’ve sung thousands of songs, chased countless bubbles, had hundreds of Rody races, ribbon twirls and pom pom shakes, we’ve supported tired parents and watched our tiny babies grow into confident toddlers right before our eyes and I couldn't be prouder or everything we’ve achieved together.

But what I’ll treasure most is the friendship that’s grown through it all.

The laughs, the chaos, the long conversations, the times we supported each other without even needing to ask. You’ve been someone I could rely on, someone who understood the highs and the tough days, and someone who made even the ordinary moments feel special.

No matter where life takes us next, these last three years and the memories we’ve made will always mean the world to me. Some friendships leave a mark forever - and this one definitely has.

I love you and always will.

The place that made our dream come true and has created thousand of wonderful memories.

Baby Sensory, Toddler Sense, Hub Town role play, sensory stories and messy play, creative free play, All Aboard trains, birthday parties, naming day celebrations, and so much more - so many incredible things have happened within these 4 walls and it's heartbreaking to wave goodbye.

Thank you for being our safe space, our sanctuary, our haven. You're more than just bricks and mortar, you're our happy little home and we will miss you more than we can say.

And just like that we've reached the moment where we need to say goodbye, and what a goodbye it was!

I'm going to take this evening to process today (it was a big one!) and I'll say something properly when I can find the words tomorrow.

So for now, a big request from me, if you have any photos from today, or any other session you've attended, I really would love to see them. It would mean so much to me if you could send them across so I can have a look back at the amazing times we've shared together.

Thank you so much to everyone who has done a handprint for me over the last few weeks.

At our Toddler Sense graduation parties, all of my big ones have done a handprint which was turned into a sticker and put on my wall, allowing all of my graduates to forever be a part of our Toddler Sense family.

As of April we'll no longer be at The Hub, but this part is so special to me that I've had my stickers re-made to put in a big book to remind me of all of the little ones who've made this journey so special.

So if you're joining us for one of our upcoming specials, I'd love it if we could do a handprint together. I'll have my paints available at each session, so please just let me know when you arrive if you'd like to do one, and we can grab a brush. If I'm not seeing you and you'd like to do a handprint and send it to me, I'd love that too.

It really would mean the world to me.

🌈 HUB SALE 🌈

On Sunday 12th April from 10am - 1pm we'll be holding a sale at The Family Hub.

We'll be selling lots of our props and equipment (ball pools, inflatables, pop up tents, books, cuddly toys, etc) so please come and support us.

Please note that by this date we will have emptied and redecorated a lot of the Hub so it'll look very different to how it looks now, please bear this in mind if you're planning on bringing your little ones with you.

The amazing Pikki will be joining us on Saturday 28th March for our final Toddler Sense session!

And whats even better, they're offering family sessions at the end of the day too.

If you've already booked onto one of our sessions that day, you don't need to do anything extra, we'll have a sign up sheet in class and we can add you to the list when you arrive.

If you're not booked in for the day but would like to join us for a family photoshoot, please drop me a message. We have the following sessions available: 3:15pm and 3:30pm.

We've had first "How Do You Do?"s, first steps, first cuddles, you've said my name for the first time (this one gets me every time!). I've had an absolute blast and I can't thank you enough for joining me.

Come and join us on Sunday from 10am - 11am for our final All Aboard train extravaganza!

We’ll have train themed soft play, ride on trains and tracks to build too. So grab those tickets and ride those rails!

Suitable for little ones from 1 year - 5 years, older and younger siblings are welcome to join (older siblings will need to have spaces booked).

The session is £6.
