Time to celebrate!! 🤩🥳

This week at Havenmere, we have a new entertainer coming into the home to sing to our residents!

We are hosting a garden party alongside this to get out in the sunny, warm weather.

Residents families are more than welcome to join us! The party is starting at half 1, Charlie-Rose will be set up in our secret garden from 2 o'clock till half-past 3. Drinks and snacks will be provided for the party!

This has all been organised to celebrate our residents and staff reaching France in our Walk the World event.

Well Done! 🇧🇶

As we posted last month, we have been holding a Walk the World event here at Havenmere.

This month the goal was to walk to France, altogether 679 miles!

Today we have collected in the steps done by our staff and residents and altogether they have walked 1,452,534 steps! This is equal to 726 miles achieved!

We have more than reached our goal this month! Thank you to all of the staff that took part, and all of the staff that assisted our residents to take part! We made it!!

Next month's Walk the World we are going to make it from France to Greece!

We just wanted to say another big thank you to all of the staff who donated during our Easter fundraisers. 🎉
These are some of the items we were able to buy for some of our residents with this money!
We hope to continue doing fundraisers like this in the future to raise money for our residents.

Here at Havenmere we managed to raise £91.41 for our Residents!

Easter Party!

Yesterday we visited our sister site Ledger Grove with three of our residents for their Easter party to raise funds for one of their residents. We listened to the singer and ate some party food.🥳

Easter Weekend!

Easter weekend was spent having fun with our residents, we had an easter party with a chick race, games and music.

We gave out chocolate and gifts.🐥

We arranged a raffle and prize with all funds raised going to our residents comfort fund.

Exemplar Values Awards!

On the 16th of March we held the Exemplar Values Awards here at Havenmere.

We would just like to say congratulations and well done to the staff members who were nominated!

Pilgrim Father's Monument!

This week we walked with some of our residents to the pilgrim father's monument.🏛️🚶‍➡️

This was moved in the 1970's to it's current location which is located on church lane, Immingham. 😊

Red Nose Day ❤️

This year for Red Nose day we are getting our staff to wear wigs to raise money for Comic Relief.

Keep an eye out for aliens around the building to win prizes for our residents!
