PETER WILSON

Of Eccles Farm, Lower Westhouse, passed away peacefully in the Royal Lancaster Infirmary on Tuesday 19th August 2025, aged 80 years.

Beloved husband of Joyce, much loved dad of Andrew & Rachel, special brother, uncle, brother-in-law and a good friend to all who knew him.

Peter will be sadly missed by all his loving family, relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service will be held at St Oswald’s Church, Thornton-in-Lonsdale, followed by interment in the churchyard on Thursday 4th September at 1.30pm, refreshments to follow at Bentham Golf Club.

ANDREW JOHN WHITWORTH

of Burton-in-Lonsdale, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday 14th August 2025, aged 67 years with his beloved wife Ann by his side.

Much loved son of Barrie & the late Dorothy, stepdad to Claire & Kathryn, wonderful step grandad to Hannah, Jack and Freddie. He was a dear brother to Gill, Helen and Maura, a treasured uncle and a good friend to all who knew him.

Andrew will be greatly missed by many, including his wider family, business colleagues and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at All Saints Church, Burton-in-Lonsdale on Wednesday 3rd September at 1.30pm, followed by committal at Beetham Hall Crematorium at 3.30pm,
Refreshments to follow at The Crooklands Hotel, LA7 7NW.

Former local Cricket umpire, golfer and butcher.

Beloved husband of Joyce, much loved dad of Russell & Bridget, a dear father-in-law, uncle and a good friend to all of his work colleagues from Angus Fire, where he worked for over 40 years.

Tom will be sadly missed by all his loving family, relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service & Committal will be held at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Wednesday 30th July at 12.30pm.
