Today is all about Ania ❤️🖤
Health, fitness, and ALM have been a non-negotiable part of Ania’s life for years now.
Even as a busy mum, she’s shown that making time for yourself is not just possible, but important.
She’s built health and fitness into her family life and routines, proving that prioritising your own wellbeing can inspire your kids, family, and friends too.
Over the years, Ania’s fitness levels have rocketed, her strength has grown, and her determination shines through.
But what really stands out is the energy and kindness she brings with her. Whether it’s lifting up her workout buddies Anna and Charlotte (the awesome “trio tribe”), buddying up with new members, or simply showing up with a contagious smile and dimple.
For Ania, ALM isn’t just about exercise. It’s about the sense of belonging, friendships, variety, coaches, laughter, and the way it makes her feel. As she puts it herself:
“I can feel the difference within my body. How fit I feel, how healthy I feel. As well as my energy and my mindset”

The biggest myth about ageing? That your metabolism slows down.
You don’t lose your metabolism.
You lose your muscle.
Between 20 and 60, your metabolic rate barely changes — but your muscle mass does. And muscle is the biggest driver of metabolism.
👉 After 30, muscle starts to decline.
👉 For women, menopause accelerates that decline.

Today we want this post to be all about showing some love to one of our amazing members, Debbie.
For two big reasons…
❤️ Her incredible journey from courage to confidence.
🖤 And because this week Debbie celebrated her 60th birthday!!
Debbie joined ALM alongside her husband Steve, determined to make a change as she reached this milestone birthday, and what and incredible start she’s had.
After coming through the menopause, gaining weight, and feeling her joints ache, Debbie knew it was time to make a change.
She spotted our post on Facebook, took a leap of courage, and got started with us despite being nervous and hated the thought of the gym…
In just 6 weeks, Debbie has already:

🖤 Improved her balance & flexibilty
❤️ Reduced her joint pain
