Job Vacancies: 2 x P/T Cleaning Operatives

We are looking for two part-time hardworking and reliable individuals to play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our Practice Each vacancy is for 10 hours per week; working between the hours of 5.30pm and 7.30pm Monday to Friday. You must also be flexible to cover sickness and holidays.

The role includes cleaning of all clinical rooms, toilets, offices, kitchen and corridors, reception area and waiting room. Cleaning expectations must be to a high standard. Previous experience cleaning in this environment preferred but not essential as full training would be given.

PPE such as gloves and uniform are provided to ensure the safety of our employees.

The successful candidate will need to meet vetting requirements and satisfy pre-employment checks.

Salary : £24,422 FTE - Pro rata
Annual Leave: 6 weeks inclusive of one week compulsory closure dates
Pension: NHS Superannuation Scheme.

The Highland Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (HADP) has launched a new website.

HADP is the multi-agency strategic partnership whose purpose is to achieve improved outcomes for individuals, families and communities by preventing and reducing drugs and alcohol-related harm in Highland.

Go Kids Go have been running training since 1990; enabling independence and helping to ensure that the young people are able to reach their full potential.

They are running a free wheelchair skills session in Inverness for children age 2-18 years. Extra wheelchairs will be provided for family members.

Enhanced Services RETURN to GP Practices

In December 2023 NHS Highland ceased contracts with GP Practices to deliver various additional 'enhanced' services. Since then, after a great amount of negation NHS Highland has offered a new contract to all GP Practices across the whole of Highland.

We are pleased to inform you that Riverside Highland Medical Group has agreed and signed up to this new contract, allowing all services to return to the Practice and will resume with immediate effect.

This includes the likes of Minor Surgery, Diabetes management, Contraceptive coils and implants and blood testing for those on high risk medication.

At the rural sites, a Minor Injury service will also be in operation, reducing the need to attend Emergency Departments.

We know it has been a challenging time for our patients and staff but we are pleased we will now be able to continue providing these vital services to our population.
