MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST VACANCY

Crown Medical Practice is seeking a highly motivated Medical Receptionist to join our friendly primary care team. We are looking for someone who will be working 24 hours per week. This can be worked over 3 full days or 4 shorter days.

Carers Scotland Highland Roadshow

On the day, people can:
• Speak directly with over 24 organisations in one place
• Get help completing forms, applications and referrals
• Access advice on money, benefits, energy and support with getting a break
• Learn about carers’ rights and practical guidance
• Get help with applications such as funding support and Blue Badges

Whether someone has been supporting a loved one for years, or things are only just starting to feel heavier, they are very welcome.

*EASTER HOLIDAYS - OPENING TIMES *

In line with the NHS Highland GP practice public holidays, the practice will be closed on Good Friday, the 3rd of April.

On Easter Monday, the 6th of April, we will be providing a reduced service and will be open for pre-booked appointments only. Our phone lines will be closed.

If you require urgent medical assistance on either of these days please contact NHS24 on 111.

We will resume our normal service on Tuesday the 7th April.

Ability Net, in partnership with BT Group, delivers free digital skills sessions to people aged 55+ across the UK.

They offer simple, friendly, foundation-level training sessions for established community groups, as well as one-to-one home visits for individuals. Topics can include things like staying safe online, getting to know your device, using AI and making video calls.

TESCO PHARMACY

Please be aware that Tesco Pharmacy have let GP practices know that since last week they are currently not collecting prescriptions.
This is completely out with the practice's control.

But it means that if you have Tesco Pharmacy as your preferred pharmacy on your record and you had a prescription done in the last week or so, your prescription will likely still be here at the practice.

If this concerns you, please call us on 01463 214450 to let us know of an alternative pharmacy you'd like the prescription to go to or come and collect it from the practice yourself.

We will update this post once we hear when collections are due to restart.

CLOSURE 9TH FEBRUARY BETWEEN 1-2PM

Due to an essential IT upgrade on Monday the 9th of February, the practice will be closed between 1-2pm that day.

Our IT systems will be down over lunchtime to facilitate this work but doors and phonelines will be open as normal until 1pm and after 2pm on the 9th.
