Kathleen Millar (née Maley) died peacefully in the loving care of Ashley Court Nursing Home, Edinburgh, on 21st December 2025, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of James and former joint owner of Belle Vue Nursing Home, Inverness, where she spent many happy years. Kathleen will return home to Kilsyth to be laid to rest. Kathleen’s greatest love was her family. She leaves behind beautiful memories as a dearly loved mum, granny, great-granny, auntie, and sister. Kathleen will be received into St Patrick’s RC Church, Kilsyth, at 6.00pm on Monday 12th January. Her Requiem Mass will take place at 9.30am on Tuesday 13th January 2026, followed by interment at Kilsyth Cemetery. All are welcome. No flowers please. If desired, donations may be made in Kathleen’s memory to Mary’s Meals, a charity very close to her heart, via D. Chisholm & Sons website (Funeral Notices). Refreshments will be served in the Parish Hall following the service. May she rest in peace.
