Thought I’d start 2026 with a post on why I do what i do!
As a midwife, I have witnessed over and over again just how important knowledge is when it comes to birth. Every decision has an impact, and every choice should be fully informed.
With all the will in the world, there simply isn’t enough time in appointments for many midwives to go into the details as much as many would like to. But how can you as an expectant parent make truly informed choices if you don’t know risks, benefits, options etc?
That’s why I was determined to find a way to create a space where I could go through the details that I feel you should know.
In my classes, I aim to cover as much as I can around labour, birth & postpartum to help you feel better prepared, to feel empowered and to provide you & your birth partner with all the tools you need.
