Is Pilates exercises for men?
Joseph Pilate created exercises for men and women.
His method is a total body workout.
Core work which can improve:-
postural alignment,
decrease back pain,
Improve efficiency when moving.
Flexibility is improved with repetive gentle movements, improving joint mobility and muscle length.
Muscle strengthening is also part of the programme with the use of bands weighted balls and magic rings.
Postural Alignment is improved with body awareness.
Tackles muscle imbalances as strengthens both sides of the body.
Balance is also improved by working in Standing position.
It is also a stress buster as concentrating on your breathing technique and movement at the same time brings great body awareness.
Pelvic Floor is activated during all exercises enhancing pelvic floor strength.
