We are always amazed at the generosity of local businesses, but this is a first! 🤩

Dash Competitions are donating the proceeds of the raffle of a second-hand Vauxhall Corsa VXR 2012 to Mikeysline! 🚗

We are absolutely delighted by their support in these challenging financial times, with every penny that is fundraised for Mikeysline helping us to ensure we can keep on delivering our essential support services across Highland, Islands and Moray 🙌

The online competition is open now (👇link in comments👇 ) and costs 99p per entry, or free via postal entry, and runs to April 24th at 7:30pm. The winner will be chosen by using a random number generator of all the entries and this will be carried out live stream on Facebook when the competition closes.

Read the full Terms & Conditions on the raffle page, and note that road tax and insurance is the responsibility of the winner.

March was buzzing 🐝🐝thanks to Harry Gow’s Bee Cupcakes 🧁

Bright, cheerful, and full of sunshine—these little cupcakes carried a powerful reminder: no one has to face their struggles alone 💛

With the magic of community, kindness (and a lot of cupcakes!), an incredible £15,000 was raised 😳👏🏼

We are completely blown away. This will help us continue being a vital lifeline across the Highlands, Islands, and Moray—supporting over 1,000 people of all ages and genders every single month, with no statutory funding.

Harry Gow… you really are the bee’s knees! 🐝💛
Thank you SO much 🙌

£15,000 RAISED FOR Mikeysline! 🐝

We’re honestly a bit lost for words… which doesn’t happen often.

What started as a simple idea has turned into something far bigger than we ever expected. Shop by shop, day by day, people across the Highlands got behind it, and it’s led to this.

Every cupcake bought. Every bit of support shown. Every person who chose to be part of it.

That’s what made this happen.

Our team put everything into it from start to finish, and the support from the community has been un-bee-lievable.

We’re incredibly proud. Mikeysline are over the moon. And we’re so grateful to every single person who got behind it.

So, THANK YOU!

And a little reminder… 💛🤎

The year is certainly flying by, as are our busy bees who are flying all over doing so much to support the vital work Mikeysline does in local communities:

The eggs are all in the one basket as we wish huge congratulations to Finlay, the winner of our Easter Hamper that was generously donated by Tesco Inshes. Don't eat it all at once!

Nairn JAC fundraised at Nairn Show, which allowed them to make an incredible £400 donation to help us continue providing non-judgemental support to those who reach out.

Enjoy family friendly Easter fun as Munlochy community Market is holding an Easter Market at Munlochy Hall this Saturday, with the proceeds of the community cafe on the day going to Mikeysline.

You haven't missed your chance to experience the magic of Duffus Estate and their Easter Egg Trail, which they will be putting on again Good Friday (tomorrow!) Go and show them all the support you can as they will be supporting us over the next year

Well done to Jade, who raised an incredible £2075 doing Inverness Half Marathon , all in memory of her friend Toby. We are so grateful for your hard work and hope now you get a wee rest before the next one!

Also on the Half Marathon, volunteers on the day chose to nominate Mikeysline for their charity contribution, donating £520 to our grassroots charity!

Gillian at Sit back, Relax & Read - In Partnership with Usborne will not only be donating a portion of book sales to Mikeysline this month, but is holding an amazing raffle to win a Walkers Shortbread Hamper!

Specsavers Dingwall are holding an Easter competition to Guess The Bear's Name, all to help Mikeysline in the work we do. You should have gone to Specsavers this weekend!

While there are still a few spaces for teams to sign up to our tee-rriffic golf day, you don't have to be a player to come along.

If good food, entertainment and swinging about the dancefloor is more your thing, we have tables available for those who would like to come along and enjoy the evening's events at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness - the live auction alone is not to be missed!

Help score a hole in one for Mikeysline and support our mental health and su***de prevention services across the Highlands, Islands and Moray.

Mikeysline

TEXTLINE: The Mikeysline text service was launched in December 2015. We have been supporting the people of the Highlands in their times of need ever since. It was the first of its kind in the UK.

By using a text line, as opposed to a phone line, anonymity is assured. This removes the awkwardness sometimes found in talking with a total stranger. 📷1 in 4 people will hang up when they use a phone line, the nerves taking over and sometimes, they aren’t quite able to get the words out. With a text line, this removes that ‘urgency’ if you like. A moment can be taken, words can be deleted and time taken to really manage to put it into words how they are feeling.

In this current age of multimedia communications, it is a tragedy to think there are so many still feeling alone, isolated and not able to express their feelings. We’re here to help.

A common misconception about Mikeysline is that it is only for young people. That’s not the case - we cater for all ages, and have been doing so since we were founded.
