FRASER
We wish to thank everyone so much who kindly sent us messages of support, beautiful cards and flowers, and personal visits both before and after Hector’s funeral ceremony.

Special thanks to Hector’s family and friends who visited him during his ill health. You made his days brighter.

We are overwhelmed by the many acts of kindness, generosity and support we have all received.

To everyone who took the time to attend and travelled from near and afar also, to say goodbye at the funeral ceremony and graveside. We really appreciated each and every one who attended in person and online too.

We are so grateful to the wonderful Alan Smurthwaite, celebrant for such a beautiful service so uplifting, memorable and very personal to reflect Hector’s life.

The many messages received after the service were extremely thoughtful and very comforting.

To Vicki Fraser, Drew Green and all the team from John Fraser & Son of Lovat House, Dingwall for their meticulous attention to detail, professionalism, care and support with the funeral arrangements and for looking after Hector and us on the day especially.

To David and all the wonderful volunteers in the beautiful Strathpeffer Pavilion, you were so accommodating and made everything run so smoothly. A favourite place of Hector’s.

Prism Events for being so professional and caring to ensure the technology, music, photos and lighting were just perfect on the day.

Maggie and colleagues at Oops a Daisy, Beauly for such wonderful floral displays, especially the playing cards.

Valerie Cameron, Grant Oak Designs, Cromarty for creating a lovely and very personal Order of Service tribute.

James MacKenzie, for his talented piping both at the service and graveside.

Ross County Football Club and Red Poppy for the catering.

To the many wonderful, caring staff in the services that helped Hector during his ill health, very special thanks to the amazing carers, both the NHS and Contrast Care, The Ambulance Service staff and the Dementia Resource Centre staff in Dingwall, Connecting Carers, and in particular the Nursing staff at Ward GA, Raigmore Hospital, Inverness with such care and dedication to Hector in his final days and support to us will never be forgotten.

Thank you so much to everyone who kindly contributed to the charities, in memory of Hector for Prostate Cancer UK, Dementia Resource Centre, Dingwall and dog charity, Springer Rescue for Scotland, an incredible sum of £1000 was raised. Your kindness and generosity will always be remembered.

With love and heartfelt thanks – Cathy, Helen, Andrew, Wendy and family.

Having looked after Highland families for over 140 years, we work daily to honour the values of our founder, Vicki’s great grandfather, while adapting to the changing ways in which society wants to say goodbye to those we love. We are honoured when families return to us, generation after generation, and when new families call us having been recommended by family we have looked after before. Thank you for choosing and recommending John Fraser & Son. We don’t take your custom for granted, and we never forget you have a choice.

Pictured are the four generations of our family:
John Fraser, Founder; John Gordon Fraser, 2nd generation; Ian Fraser, 3rd generation and Vicki Fraser, our current proprietor and 4th generation.
