Pharmacy Counter Assistant – Join Our Busy, Friendly Pharmacy Team

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our fast-paced pharmacy. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, working as part of a team, and thriving in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
▪️Greet customers and provide a welcoming, helpful service
▪️Assist with over-the-counter medicine sales and product advice (training provided)
▪️Handle payments and maintain accurate records
▪️Keep the counter and shop area clean, tidy, and well-stocked
▪️Support the pharmacist and wider team with daily tasks

Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For:

▪️Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
▪️Good communication and listening skills
▪️Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
▪️Team player with a willingness to learn

Previous pharmacy or retail experience is an advantage, but not essential – full training will be given

❗❗ Scottish Drugs Forum are looking for Peer Research Volunteers across Highland!

If you have lived or living experience of drug use and want to use that to help improve services, they’d love to hear from you.

You don’t need any qualifications or research experience - just a bit of time, an open mind and a willingness to get involved. You'll be given full training, ongoing support and the chance to be part of something that can make a difference.

They are especially keen to reach those in more rural or remote parts of Highland who might not usually hear about this kind of opportunity.
