✅ Another night shift completed!

Our team has just finished another successful night shift on our new client site. The client was extremely pleased with the service provided and praised our professionalism and flexibility in adapting to last-minute requests for cover.

We’ve been working closely with them on a day-by-day basis while they wait for power to be restored by SSE, and it’s great to see our efforts appreciated.

🌬️ Storm Amy's set to cause disruption to the electricity network in the north of Scotland this weekend. The Met Office has issued an Amber Wind Warning, and we're at our own Yellow Alert level.

Here's how we're getting ready:

🧑‍💻 More engineers in the control room to reroute the network around faults.
👷 Field teams being moved - before the storm hits - so they're in the right location to make repairs as soon as storm-force winds subside and it's safe.
📞 Extra people to answer your calls on the telephone and on social media.
📱 Text messages with help and advice sent to 180,000 of our Priority Services customers, and phone calls to the most vulnerable.

⚠️ Amy looks set to be a severe autumn storm; with 90mph winds likely. We'll do all we can over the next few days to minimise disruption to you. Read more at www.ssen.co.uk/storm

🚨 Incident Response Update 🚨

This evening, one of our response units was deployed to a client site following an alarm activation.

Within 10 minutes of receiving the call from the alarm monitoring centre, our Emergency Response Officer (ERO) was on site. On arrival, the premises were found to be secure and the activation confirmed as false.

As part of our standard procedure, the ERO conducted a comprehensive internal and external patrol of the premises. All activities were recorded in an electronic incident report, which includes time-stamped entries and GPS verification.

Additionally, our system allows EROs to scan QR codes located throughout the site to ensure that high-value areas or specific client-designated locations are thoroughly checked. The report was submitted to the client immediately, providing real-time assurance of site security.

This incident underscores the efficiency, professionalism, and technological capability of our team in safeguarding our clients’ assets and maintaining peace of mind at all times.
