Hi all, Stuart & family here!
Does anyone have an old phone lurking in the junk drawer?

Drummond School Parent Council are in need of old mobile phones. These are to be used solely for photographing pupils to track their progress and show to their parents. New laws prevent personal devices from being used for this so 20 phones are needed as soon as possible.

The phone doesn’t need to be a recent model, just a working camera and, of course, needs to be factory reset.

IF YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP I’M MORE THAN HAPPY TO COLLECT AND DROP OF AS MANY DEVICES AS POSSIBLE TO DRUMMOND SCHOOL.

Something new I’ve been working on for 2026🎶 🎶. I am so pleased to share that I am now providing music Therapy in the Neo Natal ward at Raigmore Hospital. Can’t wait to share a bit more about this new project “sound beginnings” by Harmony Music Therapy soon.

Absolutely loved visiting Snap Inverness in the October holidays and making music 🎶❤️ lots of smiles and brilliant music making.

🍁Another October Leisure Scheme Throwback!
👻We wanted to highlight some of the amazing organisations who we worked with throughout our leisure scheme..
🎷 Harmony Music came in. We often have Harmony Music in to visit! Our young people loved playing the instruments and her visits brought so many smiles!
🐻 The Highland Wildlife Park is one of our favourite spots to visit. We were lucky enough to take a group along, thank you Highland Wildlife Park for hosting us so well!
🐶 It’s all about the animals! Highland Therapeutic animals had us in twice during the Leisure Scheme. We found the environment & atmosphere to be incredible. The young people and staff were laughing for the full visit and interacting with the animals was incredibly calming for everyone. We also really enjoyed having the huge outdoor space to explore.
🎳 We had to say a final goodbye to Roller-bowl. We want to thank them for their wonderful hospitality and how staff always welcomed us in the doors so kindly. It was a very special place for SNAP to visit and the children loved going every time!
🎄We are looking forward to our festive leisure scheme! We run a few holiday leisure schemes throughout the year, if you know an activity/ organisation our young people might enjoy, feel free to pop us an email.

Today is National Allied Health Professions Day which is dedicated to recognising contributions of AHPs across different healthcare settings.

Did you know that Music therapists are AHPs?

Allied Health Professions: art therapists, dramatherapists, music therapists, podiatrists, dietitians, occupational therapists, prosthetists and orthotists, paramedics, orthoptists, physiotherapists, diagnostic radiographers, therapeutic radiographers, speech and language therapists.
