🧶✨ Creative Afternoon at Culduthel! ✨🧵

This afternoon our residents enjoyed a lovely, relaxing session of knitting and sewing. Together, we crafted our very own wee purses and decorated them with colourful felt — with lots of concentration, chatter and smiles along the way. 💛

It was a gentle, mindful activity that brought out creativity and connection, and everyone was delighted with their finished pieces. Such a lovely way to spend the afternoon! 🌼🎨

🎨🕊️ Mindful Colouring at Culduthel 🕊️🎨

Our residents spent some lovely time enjoying mindful colouring, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere throughout Culduthel.

With soft, soothing music playing in the background, everyone focused on colouring beautiful birds in nature, taking part in a calming and creative activity that encouraged relaxation and gentle concentration 🌿🎶

We also took a moment to look at some of the most common garden birds found in the UK, sparking conversation, memories and plenty of interest.

A truly peaceful session that brought quiet joy, creativity and connection to our day 💛🫶

🎶🐣 An Afternoon Full of Easter Joy! 🐣🎶

We had such a lovely afternoon at Sounds Familiar today, celebrating Easter with plenty of sing‑alongs, dancing and gentle movement. The room was filled with smiles, music and wonderful energy from our residents and colleagues alike 💛✨

Elaine and Helen were among those who joined in — and as you can see, they had an absolutely brilliant time! 🎤💃🌼

Moments like these truly brighten our home and bring everyone together in the best way.

🐰🐣 Easter Celebrations at Culduthel! 🌼✨

We had a fantastic Easter afternoon filled with fun, smiles and festive cheer! Our residents enjoyed an exciting Easter egg scavenger hunt, followed by a lively Easter quiz that had everyone joining in. 🥚🎉

Afterwards, our wonderful activity coordinators Tracy and Natasha visited each resident to wish them a Happy Easter and present them with their very own Easter egg — a lovely moment that brought big smiles all round. 💛🐰✨

🐣🥚 Easter Egg Rolling Fun at Culduthel! 🌼

This afternoon our residents had a fantastic time rolling their Easter eggs down our very own handmade hill! We added a fun twist — at the bottom were cups worth 1–9 points, and everyone took turns aiming for the highest score. 🎯✨

There was lots of laughter, friendly competition and plenty of cheering as the eggs made their way down the hill. A simple but brilliant activity that brought joy, excitement and Easter spirit to the home. 💛🐰

We had such a brilliant afternoon getting crafty and creating our very own Easter bonnets! 🎀💛

Using cardboard plates and bowls as the base, everyone got stuck in decorating them with colourful Easter‑themed napkins and beautiful handmade flowers crafted from card. 🌸✂️🎨

There was laughter, creativity and plenty of proud smiles as each bonnet came together. It was a joyful activity enjoyed by all! 💐

We had a brilliant time getting into the Easter spirit with a whole range of festive activities! ✨

Residents enjoyed pinning the tail on the rabbit, decorating their eggs ready for the big Easter roll, and getting creative with our Easter crafts. 🎨🥚🐰

We also held friendly competitions for:

🧵 Best Sewing — featuring the lovely little purses we made!

This afternoon we got creative in the kitchen with some Easter‑themed baking — making adorable cakes that looked just like Easter egg nests! 🍰

Residents had a wonderful time mixing, shaping and decorating their tasty creations, with plenty of laughter and sweet treats along the way. It was a lovely way to celebrate the season and enjoy a bit of hands‑on fun together. 💛🐥
