Yesterday afternoon, our gentlemen gathered for another enjoyable session of our Gentlemen’s Club — a great chance to unwind, chat and spend time together 💬

There was plenty of friendly competition over dominoes, accompanied by a good cuppa and lots of conversation. It’s always lovely to see everyone relaxed, engaged and enjoying each other’s company ☕🎲💛

Simple moments like these help create a real sense of community and connection — and we’re already looking forward to the next meet‑up! 🌟

🧠💬 A Wonderful Reminiscence Session at Culduthel 💬🧠

Today we enjoyed a truly meaningful reminiscence session, and we’re delighted to say that our second attempt was a great success! 🌟

Our residents moved gently around the corridors, stopping at different points to explore questions about past experiences, favourite memories and special moments from their lives.
The combination of light movement and shared storytelling created a lovely, uplifting atmosphere 😊💛

Everyone took part with enthusiasm, and it was wonderful to see so many smiles, conversations and memories being shared along the way. These sessions always spark connection, joy and reflection — and today was no exception ✨

Helen enjoyed a truly lovely afternoon celebrating 100 years of Girl Guiding at Fairways Restaurant in Inverness 🎉💐

Girl Guiding has been a huge part of Helen’s life, and she dedicated many years to supporting and inspiring others through the movement. It holds a very special place in her heart, and it was wonderful to see her celebrating such an important milestone surrounded by warmth and happy memories 💙🌿

With Thinking Day approaching on 22nd February, it was also a meaningful moment to reflect on the incredible Girl Guide community worldwide — a day to remember, appreciate and celebrate members past and present 🌍✨

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful Valentine’s Day lunch here at Culduthel Care Home, filled with warmth, smiles and plenty of love 💕✨

The tables were set, the atmosphere was joyful, and everyone appreciated the chance to share a delicious meal together on such a special day. A simple but meaningful celebration that brought lots of happiness to the home ❤️🌹

🎶💃 An Afternoon of Music and Joy at Culduthel Care Home! 💃🎶

This afternoon, our Sounds Familiar group was full of energy as everyone enjoyed plenty of singing and dancing! From the smooth classics of Frank Sinatra to the timeless favourites of Doris Day, we truly had a blast 💛✨

The room was filled with smiles, laughter and toe‑tapping moments — a lovely way to bring people together and lift spirits.

A big thank you to our wonderful colleagues who help make these sessions so enjoyable for our residents.

💙🩰 A Wee Afternoon of Scottish Dancing at Culduthel Care Home! 🩰💙

Our ladies had a wonderful time enjoying some traditional Scottish dancing today — and it was so much fun! ✨

The music and familiar steps brought back lovely memories of days spent in old dance halls, swirling around the floor and sharing laughter with friends. It was a beautiful mix of movement, reminiscence and joy 💛

🎶🐾 A Special Visit from Willie & Poppy at Culduthel! 🐾🎶

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming back Willie and his adorable dog Poppy this week — and what a wonderful afternoon it was! 💛✨

Willie is one of the kindest souls you could ever meet, and he also happens to be incredibly talented. He treated us to a lovely selection of love songs along with some Irish country favourites, which are always hugely enjoyed here at Culduthel 🎤🍀💕

And of course… Poppy stole the show! 🐶💖
Our residents adored her gentle nature and loved giving her little treats. Her presence brought so many smiles and warm moments throughout the visit.

These visits always brighten our week, and we’re so grateful for the joy Willie and Poppy bring to our home 🌼

🍓💞 Sweet Valentine’s Moments at Culduthel 💞🍓

We had such a lovely and fun‑filled afternoon celebrating Valentine’s at Culduthel this week! ❤️✨

Our residents enjoyed dipping fresh strawberries in chocolate, creating delicious treats for everyone to enjoy. The activity sparked lots of smiles, teamwork and plenty of sweet moments! 🍓🍫

We also held a special Valentine’s reminiscence session in our café, where we sang love songs and shared memories of old flames, childhood sweethearts, wonderful life partners, and the cherished traditions that have continued through the years 💬💕🎶

Our residents were delighted to help prepare the chocolate‑dipped strawberries for their Valentine’s lunch, held on Saturday 14th February — a lovely way to add a personal touch to the celebration 💖🍽️

A heartfelt, joy‑filled afternoon spent together, celebrating love in all its forms 🌸✨

Residents at Culduthel Care Home wrapped up warm and enjoyed a refreshing bike ride around our lovely local community today ✨

A huge thank you to the fantastic volunteers at Spokes for Folks, who always make these outings such a joy. The fresh air, friendly chats and beautiful views made it a wonderful experience for everyone 💛🌿

Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon getting into the Valentine’s spirit. 🌹✨

Together, we created beautiful Valentine’s cards and decorated special placemats that will be laminated and used for our Valentine’s lunch this Saturday. 🎨💌

There was plenty of laughter, music, and heartfelt reminiscing as we listened to favourite love songs and shared memories of Valentine’s Days gone by. 💞🎶

It’s the little moments that make the biggest difference 💛

This morning, our lovely resident Janet enjoyed a peaceful cup of tea while listening to calming classical music 🎶🫖

Knowing how much Janet loves flowers and plants, we also spent some time together watering her indoor plants 🌺🪴 It was a lovely chance to chat, connect and enjoy something she finds meaningful.

We had a wonderful visit from Scottish Ballet, who showed us some beautiful moves and shared the joy of dance with everyone

Our ladies and gents loved watching the graceful demonstrations and joining in with gentle movements of their own. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and lovely moments of connection.
