Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) is a specialist reflexology technique that focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. This can help encourage the body’s natural detoxification processes, reduce swelling, congestion and supporting the immune system.

RLD is an award-winning treatment developed by Sally Kay BSc (Hons) through extensive clinical practice, originally within cancer care settings to support those experiencing secondary lymphoedema. It is now widely used to support people living with a range of chronic and long-term conditions, inflammatory and autoimmune disorders.

RLD offers a gentle, non-invasive treatment which is designed to mimic the techniques and effects of Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage.

Treatments take place on the feet, so all you have to do is remove your shoes and socks.

A wee bit late but just want to wish you all a Happy New Year! When I was out for a snowy walk with the dog this evening, started thinking about how the start of a new year can bring a lot of pressure to makes changes or set big resolutions.

This year, it’s okay to move gently. The path may shift, but that doesn’t mean it’s a mistake - different pathways are still progress. It doesn’t mean we’re lost.

Pause, reflect and be kind to yourself as you go. Embrace the detours along the way and keep moving forward. Here’s to 2026!
