🏮🐉 Chinese New Year at Daviot! 🐉🏮

Our residents and colleagues had a brilliant afternoon getting creative as we made our very own Chinese lanterns!

There were lots of bright colours, laughter and concentration as everyone joined in with the craft session, and the finished lanterns look absolutely beautiful.

A lovely way to continue our Chinese New Year celebrations and bring a splash of colour to the home.

🧶✨ A Relaxing Knitting Afternoon at Daviot! ✨🧶

Our residents enjoyed a wonderfully calm and cosy knitting afternoon this week at Daviot. With warm conversations, gentle music and plenty of creativity, it was the perfect way to unwind and spend time together.

Knitting is such a lovely activity that brings joy, comfort and a real sense of achievement, and it’s always heart‑warming to see everyone so engaged.

🎶✨ Scottish Songs with Katie Louise! ✨🎶

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful musical afternoon with the lovely Katie Louise, sharing classic Scottish songs that brought back memories, smiles, and a few happy sing‑along moments.

Music always brings such a special energy into the home, and it was lovely to see everyone joining in and enjoying themselves. 🎤

✨🩰 A Wonderful Afternoon at Daviot! 🩰✨

We were delighted to welcome the Scottish Ballet into our home for a wonderfully uplifting exercise session with our residents.

Everyone got involved, moving at their own pace, and there were plenty of smiles, laughter, and moments of pure joy.

A big thank you to our colleagues for supporting the session and helping create such a positive atmosphere. 🌟

It’s amazing to see how dance and gentle movement can bring people together and brighten the day!

Winter has truly arrived at Daviot, and our home has transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland. Residents have been keeping cosy indoors, watching the snow drift down outside while enjoying a variety of relaxing indoor activities.
