So I took it upon myself to do something even more useful in life for folks, I gave blood 🩸 at the local blood centre at Raigmore.

This is the second time ever I have done this, with the first time being in my early 20’s. I have to say, I was nervous 🤷🏻‍♂️, but just got on with it.

I now know that I shouldn’t have been nervous, as the whole experience was brilliant and took just five minutes in the chair after going through the checks on the questionnaire with Nurse Morag!

The nursing staff were wonderfully cheerful and helped enormously relive any fears or concerns that anyone had.

I asked my nurse if they had a lot of donors, but she told me that they are struggling to get new donors and it’s the same ones that come back (which is great, but a lot of room for improvement).

So, I said that I would pop a quick post on my page to let people know what it was like and see if I can help find a few more donors. The nurse kindly took a picture for this (camera never worked since)!

The first is a hands on working on specific ailments session. This last approx 30 mins and is £35.

The other, is a donation based service where general healing will be given and this would be a 15-20 Min Appointment. Although this session helps you relax and helps top your batteries up, I have learned never to put limitations on what can be achieved.

We have two earwax removal/Aural health examination and hearing tests available tomorrow morning (Saturday 1st Feb).
You can either book online via the website, or please feel free to give us a call on 01463 353116.

Please remember that earwax needs to be ideally nice and soft for removal, so olive oil to soften is best from your local pharmacy (Earol). If you know someone who may be suffering, then please point them this way, always happy to make your day much better!!
