DriveAbility Scotland is growing across the Highlands and we’re looking for two passionate professionals to join our team!
Whether you’re a registered Clinician or an experienced Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), this is your opportunity to be part of a service that genuinely changes lives.
📍 Inverness (with travel across the region when required)
🕐 Part-time: 1 day per week (7.5 hours), increasing to 2 days as demand grows
🗓️ Closing date: 15th May 2026
At DriveAbility Scotland, we support disabled and older people across Scotland to maintain independence through safe, confident driving. As part of the Driving Mobility network, we deliver expert, clinically led driving assessments and advice on vehicle adaptations.
👩⚕️ Part-Time Clinician / Occupational Therapist (Driving Assessments)
💷 £38,000 - £40,800 p.a. (pro rata)
Join our multidisciplinary team delivering specialist driving assessments.
In this role, you will:
✔️ Carry out assessments alongside a Driving Adviser
✔️ Assess physical, cognitive, perceptual & sensory abilities
✔️ Support clients with a wide range of conditions
✔️ Provide clear reports and recommendations
✔️ Advise on vehicle adaptations
✔️ Liaise with the DVLA and other professionals
We’re looking for:
✔️ HCPC (or equivalent) registered clinician
✔️ Strong clinical experience post-registration
✔️ Experience with complex/long-term conditions
✔️ Excellent communication & report writing skills
⭐ Experience in driving, rehab, or assistive tech is a bonus
🚘 Part-Time Driving Adviser (ADI)
💷 £37,000 - £38,600 p.a. (pro rata)

In this role, you will:
✔️ Deliver high-quality driving assessments
✔️ Work alongside clinicians and our wider team
✔️ Support clients with diverse needs
✔️ Produce clear reports and recommendations
✔️ Help create a supportive, client-centred experience
We’re looking for:
✔️ Minimum 3 years’ experience as an ADI
✔️ Strong communication & interpersonal skills
✔️ Confidence working independently and in a team
✔️ Good IT and report writing skills
⭐ Experience with adaptations or additional needs is desirable
