✨🦙 ALPACA ALERT at Kelvinside Manor!🦙✨

We had a seriously unforgettable day at Kelvinside Manor Manor thanks to a very special visit from Linsay and her adorable alpacas from Larch Green

Sid and Toby were total scene‑stealers. Calm, friendly and bursting with personality, they won hearts instantly as residents enjoyed cuddles, chats and learning all about these lovely, fluffy visitors

The whole day was filled with smiles, laughter and that extra bit of magic that only alpacas seem to bring, honestly, who can resist those faces?

A huge thank you to Linsay, Sid and Toby for making the day so special. Kelvinside Manor is already counting down to your next visit! 💛

🐣 Easter, Raffle Wins & a Giant Duck?! Parklands Did Easter Properly! 🐣

Easter celebrations were well and truly in full swing at Parklands Care Home, and what a cracking time we had! A huge congratulations to our Easter Raffle winners, Karen and Clare, enjoy your prizes and thank you for joining in the fun! 🏆✨

We loved seeing so many people taking part, sharing laughs and getting into the Easter spirit. Every ticket bought helped make the day even more special 💛

Our residents were also treated to Easter egg gifts, spreading smiles, springtime cheer and just the right amount of chocolate

And of course… no Parklands celebration would be complete without a little silliness, enter the inflatable duck costume, which stole the show and had everyone laughing! you’ve just got to embrace the fun.

From raffle wins and chocolate treats to quacking good laughs, it was an Easter to remember. 🐰🌼

When the sun makes an appearance, Willow Lodge Care Home knows exactly what to do… break out the bold shirts, pop on the shades and enjoy the good vibes!

Residents and colleagues alike embraced the fun, showing off their brightest shirts and coolest sunglasses, and let’s just say, the style game was strong

From laughter and chatter to plenty of posing for the camera, it was one of those days filled with smiles, personality and feel‑good moments 💛

Because at Meallmore, it’s not just about care, it’s about celebrating individuality, having a laugh and making every day count! Which is super important in our Adult Specialist Services.

💐✨ A Beautiful Surprise for Charlene at Parklands! ✨💐

We had the sweetest moment at Parklands Care Home, and honestly, it melted everyone’s hearts 💛

Our lovely Charlene was surprised with the most gorgeous flowers from the church, plus a handmade card from her dear friend Liz… who she’s been besties with for over 40 years! Now that’s friendship goals

The smile on Charlene’s face said it all, pure joy, a little nostalgia, and a whole lot of love. Moments like these remind us just how special these lifelong connections truly are

We’ve got big news… and we’re still doing a happy dance about it!

The incredible team at Alderwood Care Home has officially achieved Grade 5s in our latest inspection, and we couldn’t be prouder! This amazing result is all thanks to the dedication, compassion and everyday magic our team brings to the home 💛💫

And of course, a massive shout‑out to our wonderful residents, who proudly showcased their Recovery Stars. Their progress, strength and achievements filled the room with smiles and inspiration. Truly the heart of Alderwood!

This success belongs to every single person in the Alderwood community, staff, residents, families and supporters. Together, you make Alderwood House the warm, supportive and uplifting place it is!

💛 A Sweet Surprise at Leven Beach! 💛

We had the loveliest moment at Leven Beach Care Home, the kind that gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling inside 💐✨

Our residents wanted to do something extra‑special for the wonderful nursery teacher who visits us every week… because she’s about to welcome her brand‑new bundle of joy!

Since we won’t see her again until after the baby arrives, our residents put their hearts into creating a beautiful gift just for her. And where better to deliver it than the nursery gates themselves?

There were big smiles, hugs, well‑wishes, and so much excitement for her next chapter. Moments like this remind us how strong and meaningful these intergenerational friendships really are 🌼

We’re sending her all our love for a happy, healthy and joy‑filled maternity leave — and we absolutely can’t wait to meet the newest little arrival when she’s ready to return! 💛✨

We’re delighted to announce the winners of Meallmore Hydration Week 2026! 💧

Our judges had an incredibly tough job this year, with all 27 homes participating to an exceptionally high standard. Thank you to everyone who took part.

🏆 Colleague Participation Award goes to Kynnaird House Care Home.

Not only did the entire team get involved, but the judges were especially impressed by the depth of understanding shown in the quiz responses, an outstanding effort all around.

🏆 Best Presentation Award goes to Crimond House Care Home.

The team delivered an inspiring range of hot and cold offerings twice daily, focusing on resident choice and creativity, from tropical and fruity days to milkshakes, morning iced lollies in the sun, and warm apple and cinnamon drinks in the evening.

A huge well done to all our homes for your fantastic efforts, what a week! 👏

💛 A Heartfelt Thank You from St Modans Care Home 💛

If joy had a soundtrack, it would definitely be the Central Church members and the AOG Choir! They visited us and completely filled our home with the most beautiful hymns, the kind that instantly lift the whole room and wrap everyone in calm and comfort. Our residents were beaming, and honestly… so were we!

And as if the music wasn’t magical enough, they also surprised us with Easter eggs for all our residents and colleagues. 💐

A gesture so thoughtful it left us genuinely lost for words! Your kindness, warmth and generosity brought so much heart into St Modans.

Thank you for bringing music, love and joy into our home, and for always thinking of our residents. You truly brighten our days. 🕊️✨

💛 Thank You for the Easter Kindness From Kelvinside Manor! 💛

If there were an award for Easter heroes, Rab at Acre Road Store and Kesh would absolutely sweep the category this year! 🏆✨

Rab popped in with some very delicious Easter eggs (the kind that disappear mysteriously when staff “check they’re safe”), and Kesh brought in the most gorgeous hamper that had everyone ooh-ing like it was Christmas morning.

Your kindness truly brightened our home; our residents’ smiles said it all. Moments like this remind us how lucky we are to have such thoughtful people in our corner.🌼

Thank you both for bringing a little extra sparkle and a lot of chocolate into our day.

💛 A Beautiful Trip Down Memory Lane for Bill & Jessie with St Modans Care Home 💛

We had the absolute pleasure of taking Bill and his lovely wife Jessie out for a wee day trip, and what a truly special journey it turned out to be.

Bill’s wish was to take Jessie back to Gamrie, the place where she was born, and we were honoured to help make that happen. Off we travelled along the stunning coastal route, with Bill confidently navigating the way like no time had passed at all. We enjoyed a peaceful stop in Pennan, yes, the Pennan where Local Hero was filmed, taking in the breathtaking views and chatting together while the waves rolled in. 🎬✨

As the miles went by, Bill shared memories of the days when the two of them would cycle these very roads together. You could feel the love and history in every story.

When we reached Gamrie, we slowed down to take in each special landmark:
The house where Jessie was born
The home she lived in as a little girl
And the school she once attended

The look on Jessie’s face as those memories returned… truly something we’ll all hold close. It was a day filled with nostalgia, tenderness, and gentle moments that touched every one of us. 🌼

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful colleagues who supported this beautiful outing. You helped create a memory that will be cherished for a long time.

🌹 A Heart‑Warming Birthday Surprise at St Olaf! 🌹

We LOVE a good surprise at St Olaf Care Home, and this one absolutely made our day (and our birthday girl’s!)

The wonderful Rachel from The Flower Shop Nairn popped in with her daughter Poppy, carrying the most beautiful rose arrangement you’ve ever seen. And the magic behind it? It was handcrafted by the talented pupils at Millbank Primary School, Nairn for World Happiness Day! 🌍

These amazing children decided they wanted to spread happiness across the community, and one of their thoughtful creations ended up right here with us. You should’ve seen the smile it brought… it lit up the whole room!

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Rachel, Poppy, The Flower Shop Nairn, and of course the brilliant young creators at Millbank Primary. Your kindness truly made our resident’s special day even more memorable.

Happiness shared is happiness doubled, and we felt every bit of it. ❤️

✨ Airthrey’s Grand Day Out at Klondyke Garden Centre! ✨

What a brilliant wee adventure our residents at Airthrey Care Home at Kondyke Garden Centre, honestly, we could’ve happily moved in amongst the plants!

From bursting‑with-colour blooms to shelves packed with books, cosy clothes, and charming ornaments, there was something to spark a conversation around every corner. You should’ve heard the stories that started flowing in the plant aisles alone! 🌼

And let’s be honest… no great day out is complete without delicious fish and chips. Plates emptied, smiles all round, and a warm cuppa to top it off. Pure bliss ☕🍽️

The afternoon was full of laughter, happy faces, and lovely moments shared together. It’s days like these that remind us how special these outings are for everyone 🌟

Airthrey, you certainly know how to make a garden centre feel like the place to be!
