Hi, I’m Corinne, mum to a 1 year old and a newborn, and have recently set up Carry with Corinne which offers Babywearing education and support in Aberdeenshire.

My Babywearing journey began through necessity of discovering my baby did not want to be put down, but I still needed to get things done! I started to realise there is a lack of support in my local area to support parents with this so after much research and trials of different carriers I decided I wanted to share my learning with others. I qualified as a Babywearing peer supporter and am have now almost completed further training as a Babywearing consultant. I am passionate about supporting caregivers with making Babywearing as easy and accessible as possible, offering online sling and carrier hire, one to one consultations and group workshops (and soon to be in person sling libraries!).

Have you made space to process your birth story?

Not the “it all worked out” version — but the raw, tender truth of how it actually felt in your body, your heart, your spirit?

For many of us, birth doesn’t unfold the way we imagined.

And sometimes, the world rushes us to “move on” before we’ve even had a chance to exhale.

This carousel is an invitation — to pause.
To name what still lingers.
To let your feelings be seen without shame.
To begin, or continue, your healing — in your own time and your own way. 🤍

✨ Save this post to return to when you’re ready.

📩 My DMs are always open if you need a safe space to talk or be witnessed.

So many mothers enter the fourth trimester thinking something must be wrong with them—because no one told them what’s normal.

This season is raw, beautiful, messy, and completely life-altering.

Let this post be a gentle reminder:

You are not broken. You are healing. You are becoming.

✨ Your body, your emotions, your needs—they’re all valid.

✨ Your baby isn’t asking too much.

✨ You don’t have to do it alone.

Let’s bring light to what’s been kept quiet for too long.

Let’s honour postpartum as the sacred rite of passage it truly is. 🌸

If you’re in this season now, I see you.

And if you’ve walked through it already—what do you wish someone had told you? 💛 Share below.

Rest is productive.

Not a luxury. Not laziness. Not something you have to earn.

In postpartum, rest is the work.

It’s how your body heals, your hormones rebalance, your womb closes, and your nervous system softens.

The world might tell you to “bounce back”—
But your body is asking you to lean in.

✨ Today, give yourself permission to rest.
Not because you’ve done enough,
But because you are enough. 🤍

Cervical Scar Tissue: The Hidden Labour Block No One Mentions 🪻

Ever heard of cervical scar tissue?

It’s one of the most overlooked reasons why some labours stall—despite strong contractions—and why some people are told they’ve “failed to progress.”

If you’ve had an IUD, LEEP, Plan B, or a cervical tear, this might matter more than you think…

Signs include:
• Labour stuck at 1–4 cm
• Intense surges, no dilation
• Urge to push too soon

This isn’t “failure to progress.”
You are not broken.
You don’t need to “do better.”
You deserve informed care, time, and support.
It’s scar tissue. And it can be worked with.

Let’s bring this conversation out into the open!

So many women enter pregnancy surrounded by fear, misinformation, and outdated stories about birth. 💭

But birth isn’t something to fear — it’s something to remember.

Let’s bust 5 of the most common myths about natural birth and reconnect to the truth our bodies already know. 💛

Which of these myths did you used to believe?

Or — which one have you had to unlearn on your journey?

👇 Let’s talk in the comments.

🌿 Where is the village? 🌿

I sat with a postpartum mama this week.

Sleep-deprived, overwhelmed, and holding it all… trying to survive these tender weeks alone.

She whispered, “I didn’t think it would feel like this.”

And my heart broke — not because she’s not doing an incredible job, but because she was never meant to do it all by herself.

Postpartum is raw. Beautiful. Exhausting. Sacred.

But it was never meant to happen in isolation.

This is why I do this work.
To be a soft place to land.
To remind mamas they are not alone.
To offer warm food, steady hands, and a listening heart.

✨ If you are in the postpartum season and feel like your village is missing — I would be honoured to walk beside you.
You deserve to be supported, nourished, and deeply held.

🕊️ My postnatal doula offerings are open — let’s build the village you deserve.
