We decided to have our prosecco & nibbles today instead of Thursday as we wanted to mark Pat Abels 97th birthday which was yesterday. There was a lot of hilarity as we also played ‘the humming game’. We hummed a tune and the residents joined in singing if they recognised the tune. We also played a reminiscence game and the residents enjoyed telling us things about their childhood. Favourite meals, games and even a wee story or 2 about courting days in the cinema etc. I’m not clyping but the back row was mentioned a few times !! 😆
Also Caitlin, one of our care and support workers took in her cute wee kitten Milo for a visit. He is a Scottish Fold/Straight. Caitlin said he doesn't have the folded ears gene. Isn't he just adorable ! 🥰

Pat, Elma and Margaret were delighted to be away out on a jaunt on the Trishaws this afternoon with the pilots and Arlyn. They were wrapped up well as its a wee bit cold today. This is such a valuable service for Inverurie and brings the users so much joy
