Reflexology by Angela

Reflexology by Angela Reflexology, Reproflexology for Fertility and Reiki available from Banff and Inverurie. Reflexology is a specialised foot treatment.

Some people value it as a wonderful form of relaxation, though it can also have many positive and beneficial effects on the body. Reflexology has been around for 5,000 years. It is based on the principle that areas of the feet relate to areas of the body and techniques used by a reflexologist may affect corresponding areas of the body. For everyone the result is unique though most people report feeling uplifted. It is believed that reflexology may improve circulation and can aid sleep, promote relaxation and many people report a feeling of well being. I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists and also a member of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists. I feel privileged to have been taught by Barbara Scott, acknowledged as one of the leading Fertility Specialists in the UK. I am trained in Reflexology and Cancer Care. In 2016, I was trained by Sally Kay in Cheltenham, in Reflexology Lymph Drainage, and also by Dr Carol Samuel PHd, in Edinburgh, in Nerve Reflexology and Pain Management. Carol is the first person in the world to achieve a PHd in Reflexology & Pain Management. I am a Reiki Master/Teacher and also offer Reiki Treatments. I work on Mondays from the Foot Clinic in Turriff, and Tuesdays in The Crichiebank Business Centre, Inverurie on Tuesdays. Gift Vouchers are available and make a great present. You can contact me on 07891401422 or email me on reflexologybyangela@gmail.com to arrange an appointment or for further information.

🦶 Reflexology vs Foot Massage, What’s the Difference?

Both feel good. Both involve the feet, but they are not the same.

A foot massage is a nice way to relax, using slow, flowing strokes and oils to soothe tired feet. It is comforting and pampering, great to feel calm.

Reflexology, on the other hand, is a therapeutic treatment. It is grounded in knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the body's reflex zones.

As professionally trained reflexologists, we ask about your health issues so we can work with precision, stimulating specific points on the feet and/or hands, ears and face that correspond to organs, glands, and systems in the body to help improve what is happening with your health issues.

The goal is to support your health, restore balance, and activate your body’s natural healing processes.

So while foot massage nurtures the feet, reflexology supports the whole person: body, mind, and nervous system.

With Reflexology, we will feel relaxed 👍more importantly, we will feel more aligned 😄✔️

My daughter Michelle Clarkson, Clinical Reflexologist is a fully qualified and insured Reproflexologist and works in The Hub, Marketplace, Inverurie. If you would like an appointment with her please get in touch. I can highly recommend her 😊

The Association of Reproductive Reflexologists undertook a data collection study of 180 clients, who were receiving reproductive reflexology whilst trying to conceive.

And here is the data
100 Natural Conceptions
22 with IVF/ICSI
Age Range 24 -46
Average Number of Treatments 11.32
68% conceived whilst receiving treatment.
Pregnancy with IVF/ICSI 52%

We also looked at a variety of conditions, and how they responded to reflexology, including male fertility issues and responses to IVF/ICSI, with positive results.

The foot has 26 bones! One quarter of your bones are in your feet. There are 20 muscles in each foot. The soles of our feet have more than 7000 nerve endings. Why not treat them with reflexology..
