Chiropractic is a health profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints and muscles), and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health. We offer spinal manipulation, massage, exercises, postural advice and we also have an acupuncturist, a massage therapist, two counsellors and a clinical psychologist.

Not the advice you want ...but the advice you NEED. 😬

1. Lose the extra weight.
A large percentage of people with advanced hip and knee osteoarthritis are overweight — and that extra load directly increases joint stress and pain.

2. Move more. Seriously.
Sitting dominates our lives (work, meals, commuting). Your body was designed to move — aim for daily activity and around 10,000 steps if you can.

3. Stop chasing quick fixes.
Painkillers aren’t a long-term solution. Every medication has side effects, especially on the liver and kidneys. Support your body with movement, nutrition, and the right supplements — not just pills.

4. One session won’t “fix” years of strain.
Pain becomes chronic because it’s ignored for too long. We’re clinicians, not magicians — lasting results need consistency and follow-ups.

5. Take responsibility for your health.
We can guide and support you, but you have to do the work too. Your habits matter more than any single treatment.

6. Please be on time.
Our schedules are tight so we can care for everyone properly — being punctual helps us respect everyone’s time, including yours.

7. Pain disappearing doesn’t mean the problem is gone.
Symptoms can settle before the underlying issue is resolved. That’s why rehab and maintenance matter.

8. You’re not as young as you used to be — and that’s okay.
But don't overdo it. Recovery takes longer now, and your body needs more care, not less.

9. Would you stop antibiotics halfway through?
Then don’t stop your treatment plan early either. Incomplete care = incomplete results.
