Delighted to continue our support to Ashtead Technology with 2 new ZOLL AED Plus for their Kintore and Westhill Offices.

Remember in the event of a Cardiac Arrest you have a 6% chance of survival BUT if you can get a defibrillator on within three minutes, you have a 74% chance of surviving an out of hospital, cardiac arrest. Your chances drop by 10% every minute so this is a key part of the “Chain of Survival”

Delighted to have been approved by the Hampden Sports Clinic to deliver their “National Sports First Aid” course and completed our first course this week.

We welcomed coaches and physios from Huntly Football Club and Inverurie Loco Works FC and the feedback received was excellent.

Stuart who heads up the Crowd First Aid team at Aberdeen Football club on match days and is also on the Inverurie Loco Works Committee has a vast amount of knowledge and currently also delivers the SYFA First Aid courses to over 40+ Clubs from Tain to Stonehaven.

On top of this he also volunteers around 50hrs a week as a Cardiac Responder with the Scottish Ambulance Service and has done a number of arrests so I can pass on his experience of being hands on.

We have our next course coming up at Inverurie Loco Works FC on Wednesday 1st & Wednesday 8th October (6-10pm both nights required) and have a few places remaining, so get in touch if you need to update your NSFA certificate.
