It's official!

re:treat Therapies now has a lovely new therapy room at 15 High Street, Inverurie.

If you have an appointment with us, please head up to the 1st floor where we will welcome you into our new therapy space.

Huge thanks to my amazing family and friends for the support this past week while we renovated - lifting, shifting, painting, cleaning, drilling, childminding - I appreciate you all.

This picture was taken on Friday, Laura's last day at re:treat Therapies. However this is absolutely not goodbye...

Laura Leslie Natural Health has found a new home within 15 High Street - the same building us at re:treat Therapies are moving to at the end of July.

An excellent therapist and all round beautiful human, we're so delighted Laura will be working under the same roof as myself and Reiki & Crystal Therapy with Fiona Bonner

Following our announcement on the changes at re:treat Therapies (hop back to our last post if you missed it). Now it's time to tell you about the future of re:treat Apothecary...

re:treat Apothecary was born in lockdown 2020 and with the support of our amazing customers has grown into a a thriving business handmaking luxury organic skincare - all created in our wee Aberdeenshire workshop, embracing natural ingredients and working gently with the planet.

As mentioned in the last post, our time in our current workshop has come to an end and re:treat Apothecary will be moving back to it's original location - my kitchen table!

I'm delighted to keep re:treat Apothecary producing award winning organic skincare, however moving from our workshop means we also have to downsize dramatically.

I'm sad to announce we are discontinuing re:treat Apothecary Mineral Salts and our range of Organic Gift Boxes. However this is good news for you - 📣 THE SALE STARTS TODAY! 📣

I'm also disappointed to announce I will be ending our refill service. This has been a integral part of re:treat Apothecary from day 1 - we are passionate about being kind to the planet.
This service has always cost the business money - it is cheaper to buy new packaging for every product than to clean and reuse existing packaging (crazy, huh?!). However it is due to lack of space that this service will now cease.
All our packaging is recyclable or compostable and I encourage you to reuse your packing at home; turn your beautiful glass amber bottle into a pretty flower vase, use your Natural Deodorant tin to store radical pin badges - the options are endless! ♻️🌎✌🏻

And finally, I want to say a massive heartfelt thank you to all my customers, family and friends. You're all bloody beautiful and I'm lucky to have you here. 🤍

🌀 M O V I N G 🌀

You may be aware there have been changes in the current building housing re:treat Therapies + Apothecary. Unfortunately, this means we have had to find a new home.

Good news - we have found a super new home, still in central Inverurie. We are moving from 39 High Street to 15A High Street! This will be the new home for me, Kathryn and Reiki & Crystal Therapy with Fiona Bonner

Sad news - unfortunately our new home is considerably smaller, which means re:treat will no longer have a talking therapy room. We're so sad to say goodbye to Tracey and Laura. Peaceful pathways is now located on West High Street, Inverurie and Laura Leslie Natural Health will be joining

It has been such a privilege to work with this amazing team of women - incredible therapists and brilliant humans.

From 23rd July all appointments at re:treat Therapies will be at our new premises 1st floor, 15A High Street, Inverurie.
Until then, all appointments continue as usual at 39 High Street, Inverurie.

Using the best virgin organic coconut oil to soothe skin, organic arrowroot to keep you dry all day + bicarbonate of soda to eradicate any bacteria smells - this wee tin is super effective. We then add gorgeous Patchouli + Geranium essential oils - never ever synthetic fragrance.

🌿 MAKERS MONDAY 🌿

What a joy to spend this glorious, sunny Monday Apothecary kitchen working with some special plant ingredients.

Packed with organic shea butter, virgin coconut oil and nourishing Scottish seaweed, each bar is crafted with love in our wee workshop. Now our webshop is fully stocked with re:treat Apothecary Scottish Seaweed Shampoo Bar.

When the world feels full of anger, consumption and division I am so grateful to retreat to my kitchen and work some magic with these beautiful plants.

Reconnecting with nature on any level reminds my soul that we are all one. 🌎🩵

We have shared a building with our friends and neighbours at Elemental Crystals for 3 years now. While we are sad to see the end of their business, we are delighted that Joss is taking the next step in his adventure - huge congratulations Joss!

For clarification, although there are changes ahead, re:treat Therapies and Apothecary will continue to operate as usual from our premises here at 39 High Street.
