Peacefully, after a short illness, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, Stewart Alexander (Stewartie), aged 80 years. Dearly beloved husband of Kathleen, much loved dad of Michael and Julie, cherished granda of Jamie, Callie and Ruby, a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a good friend to many. Very sadly missed and will be fondly remembered, always. Funeral Service at Insch Parish Church on Monday, September 8, at 1pm, thereafter to Insch Cemetery. Fiona, Neil and family would like to thank family, friends, neighbours and colleagues for the many kind expressions of sympathy following the recent sad loss of Nick/Nicky. Special thanks to Neil Mellis for his words of comfort and his fitting eulogy, to John and staff at Craig & Beverly Funeral Directors for their professional service and to The Drouthy Laird for the lovely refreshments. A mention also, to all the staff at Donbank Ward, Inverurie and Paramount Care for looking after him so well. Finally, thanks to those who paid their respects at the church and for the kind donations received totalling £1028, in aid of Donbank Ward and Harlaw Bowling Club.

Janet, Kate and Ally would like to pass on their sincere thanks to all who kindly expressed sympathy following the sudden death of George. Thank you to all who sent flowers, cards and good wishes and to those who took the time to call and visit. Thanks to the first responder, Callum and to the ambulance crews that did their best for George. Special thanks to Sean and the team at Craig & Beverly Funeral Directors for their professionalism and support in planning the funeral. We are grateful to the Rev. Alan Greig for his support and for conducting the service and to Rev. Jim Martin for his address. Thanks also to organist, Frances for the music, to Margaret for the beautiful church flowers, to Kerry for the excellent teas and to piper, Gillian Merchant. Finally, thanks to all who came from near and far to pay their respects to George and so generously donated to Insch Church.
He will be greatly missed.

A special thank you to The ANCHOR Unit at A.R.I. and to Insch Medical Practice and the community nursing team for their outstanding care and support. Sincere thanks to the Rev. Ian Manson for his beautiful service and to Diane and Frances for the fitting music.
