It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a true fighter and warrior, Jason Douglas Gray at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Friday March 21, 2025, aged 34 years, Jason faced every challenge with courage and strength, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and determination. Beloved son and best friend to Joan, brother and soulmate to Amanda, much-loved grandson to Marion and Doug, nephew, cousin and friend to so many. A celebration of Jason’s life will be held in Barra Barn, Barra Castle, Inverurie on Friday, April 11 at 1.00pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited, thereafter cremation private. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired at barn door in aid of The Leanne Fund, Cystic Fibrosis Charity. Bright colours with a splash of red preferred.

Beloved husband of Helen, much loved dad of Morag and Martin, dear father-in-law of Mark and Mandy, devoted granda of Rikki, Rhea, Lucas and Daryl and great granda to Savannah, Ionah, Kiyah, Miller and Denver. A dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

This comes at a key time in our industry as we became regulated by the Scottish Government at the start of this week.
