Well guys, I’m off to bed, setting my alarm for one final early start running my Slimming World groups.

Tomorrow marks my last day as a Consultant. What an incredible two years it’s been, (9 1/2 years in total) full of laughter, inspiration, and the absolute privilege of walking alongside so many of you on your weight loss journeys. But now, it’s time for me to hang up my scales.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single member, past and present, who trusted me to support you. It’s been an honour I’ll never forget.

Yes, I’m a Slimming World Consultant—but I’m also still a Slimming World member, walking the same path as many of you. That’s why receiving this award means so much to me 🩷 It’s a real boost and a reminder that progress is always possible.

I’m always open with my members, and they know that after I gave up va**ng, I faced a tough period. My appetite went into overdrive, and I found myself constantly reaching for food. It wasn’t easy—I gained weight and felt like I’d lost my rhythm. But I didn’t give up. I turned to the Slimming World Quit Smoking leaflet, revisited my books, explored the app, and tuned into the podcast. Bit by bit, I found my way back.

I’m not at target yet, but I understand this journey and I absolutely love what I do. If you’re looking for genuine support, encouragement, and a community that gets it, come and join us at Kesgrave Baptist Church every Wednesday. We run groups at 7:30am, 9am, 10:30am, 5:30pm, and 7pm. You’ll be welcomed with open arms.
