Your thoughts and the words you speak are all sending a frequency to your body and you are literally adding to an environment of FEAR or an environment of LOVE

Everything comes from one or the other.

Remember when you feel anxious and then your mind starts to pull in all the other stories that are adding to that anxiety and exaggerating it, one story leads to another and your body becomes bombarded with fear

I noticed this happening to me the other day and I felt paralysed and totally consumed by it. My body physically tensed up and felt excruciatingly tight.

After a while of struggling, I realised how much I was fighting it and when I remembered to I stopped. What a relief that moment was.

When you’re feeling so overwhelmed it’s such a hard concept to regain a grip of as the self sabotage gremlin has settled in.

It takes effort to change the course of the mind but it’s totally worth it. I honestly don’t know if I had have been able to cope if I didn’t know what I know now…

So the moment you feel your body and remember to have faith, that is when you can pull yourself out of trouble.

Literally your thoughts and responses are creating either an environment of love or an environment of fear inside your body. That is what they mean when they say your vibe- to change your vibe you have to change your thoughts and responses.

This is the sort of way I teach through the embodiment classes, the circles and the 1:1’s I hold.

When we slow down together, the nervous system begins to feel safe.
And when the body feels safe… it knows exactly how to release what it’s been holding.

When I don’t teach this Embodiment class I realise how much I miss it. The time of absolute focus on what I can feel in my body, in the room combined with the witnessing of guiding others into their self connection is just wonderful

This class is multilayered with perspectives that shake up the mind, to release the tension of the body so it can all unwind and experience what the body can do without restriction

The body becomes uncomfortable when it’s out of tune. We spend time attuning the mind to the body which is like plugging it all back in and that’s what everyone describes as magic

You are magic and you have a body full of it, if you don’t know what I mean then make sure you don’t go your whole life not knowing how to understand the body you live in 🥰

1. Informational. external things like the weather, another person, what you had for breakfast

2. Personal. what’s happening in your world right now, what you notice about yourself and your experiences

3. Relational. being with you I feel… deeper levels of vulnerability, speaking of the present moment

Not much can be learned about the self from within comfort zones, it’s when we step beyond the comfort that we grow

When we speak about what makes us excited, what we feel passionate about and feels meaningful sparks sensation in the body to be felt by yourself and others.

Understanding how to develop a somatic awareness means to feel and notice the sensations of the body as they happen. This enhances your overall capacity to feel and experience your life

Speak about the weather and surface level conversations and it’s a flat non-descript experience that is filing gaps

Speak about feelings, that’s where we can relate to each other and grow stronger together.

Combine this with listening with your full attention and having time to observe you leave feeling deeply nourished in human connection

The sort of stuff that makes us feel most alive, confident and calm

All my injuries havnt been just about healing the physical they have been directly linked to emotional stories.

ANY sensation, feeling, pain, discomfort that appears has an underlying meaning

The signal from the body is to get your attention

Learn the bodies language, see the bigger meaning. That’s how I worked my way back to health

And how incredible that this is the work I now do, to help detect where the mind blocks the body, you do the discovering I help nudge you towards it ✨

Food is the quickest and easiest way of soothing ourselves when we have difficult feelings

Those that battle with fluctuating weight and body image might find it relieving to hear that it’s never been your discipline, your genes, your metabolism.

It goes way deeper, the intelligence of your body, these cravings are a signal that something is missing but it’s not food.

The mind has found a quick fix for now but we find something much more helpful.

When we listen to the meaning behind why these strong feelings are there, that is where the power lays.

Shall we do this thing together? Connect the mind to the body to understand what’s underneath the language of emotion, sensation and get the mind on board.

Who knows, you might just start liking and being kind to yourself 🥰✨

The next time you find yourself craving something, STOP take 3 deep breaths and ask yourself what it is you really need.

Forget needing all the resolutions literally this is everything you’d need and more. Use the Winter months to invest in to your own personal connection so that you can apply this awareness to all areas of your life. From pleasure not pressure. Even with NINJA REACTIONS like this I still got hit by a motorbike!!

This is something that challenges my mind, “wouldn’t I of heard a motorbike and dived out of the way??”

My reactions are good, I’d make a good ninja I think. See Tina Powick latest post for more on that if you wish!

But hey, I also believe that there aren’t such things as “accidents” and from that experience who I am today and how fit and healthy my body is; what if it was alllll worthwhile for the long game✨✨✨

Anything is possible, every discomfort however it appears has wisdom and lessons to shape and guide your greatest life 💛✨
