“Is it okay that I’m laughing and having fun?” 🔥🐯

Someone asked me that in The Space yesterday. Honestly? It made my day. 🤗

It also reminded me how many people think exercise has to be a miserable, boring, stony-faced chore to “count.”

The “Smile Attack” 😃😆😄🤪 camera has been out again to prove otherwise.

I’m constantly catching these moments BECAUSE, at FireTiger Fitness, this is just what sessions look like:

What a beautiful evening. A perfect reset. 🪶🌅

As much as I love the gym… you just can’t beat this.

If you didn’t manage to get out in the elements yourself today, come and join me for a moment. It’s only 23 seconds, but I’d say it’s worth it for the unwind. Just sit, listen to the birds, and watch the sunset with me.

I’ve always been a country girl and for me, you can’t beat it. Being outside is just as vital for the mind as a heavy lift is for the body.

🤓 A little nerdy note on why this feels so good:

When we hear birds singing 🎶 , our nervous system reads it as a “safety cue.” Evolutionarily, birds only sing when they don’t sense immediate danger - so when we hear them, our brains can finally stop scanning for threats and drop our shoulders.

It’s nature’s way of telling us it’s okay to exhale.

I’m opening the doors this Saturday and I want to see you there.

To my 🔥🐯 Streak: Most of you already have this in your diaries, but I can’t wait to see you all in one place! This is your space, and you are the heart of FTF. It’s time to meet the faces you’ve seen on the grid and celebrate the incredible work you’re already doing 🙌

To the Future FireTigers: If you’ve been watching from the sidelines but held back because walking through a gym door alone feels nerve-wracking - this is your invitation.
This isn’t a high-pressure morning. It’s a chance to:

You’re right. It could be perimenopause. 🐯

But it could also be your body firing off warning ⚠️ shots because your foundations have slipped, were never built to last, or haven’t been adapted for the stage of life you’re in now.

An experience to remember. At 7am on Sunday we completed a 5km “ruck” around, up, around some more, down and through Stadium - finishing next to the pitch! It was a beautiful morning and such a great start to the day.

The fight to stop myself running on to the pitch and through the sprinklers at the end though was real…. 🤣

Everyone wore a weighted backpack or vest and we carried a 20kg plate between us. As someone who hasn’t rucked before, it showed me how fun walking with weight can be. So thank you to and for taking us out! As well as .official for organising it. I should also thank the whole rucking team for coping with my leadership energy at that time in the morning 😄😅! It was a pleasure walking with and chatting to everyone in that group.

So. I’d like to do some more Rucks! Anyone fancy joining me for some FTF rucking in Suffolk? 😃 - I’m counting on some of you raising your hands!
