Every year an estimated 60000 out of hospital cardiac arrests occur in the UK. Current UK survival rates among people who have a cardiac arrest outside hospital remain extremely poor, varying from 2% to 12%. The UK Resuscitation Council suggests an AED should be available wherever medical treatment is more than 5 minutes away.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OWNERS OF THE LIFEPAK CR PLUS

Stryker have confirmed that QUIK-PAK electrode pads and CHARGE-PAK battery charging sticks for the LIFEPAK CR Plus will be fully discontinued from February 2026. After this date, no replacement pads or batteries will be available, meaning these devices can no longer be kept rescue-ready.
