Our aim is to provide fast access to expert health care professionals to enable patients to start their recovery without delay. We also aim to provide high quality musculo-skeletal and sports health solutions, delivering effective treatment results in an honest, ethical and professional manner. In 2013 Sportsmed East moved into its new premises on Woodbridge Road in Ipswich. With 5 clinic rooms, off road parking and a custom built exercise area Sportsmed East is now able to offer unrivalled facilities in the Ipswich area.

Today’s Staff CPD was delivered by Neil Liffen, Extended Scope Physiotherapist and Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Sonographer.

Neil provided practical demonstrations of diagnostic imaging techniques and shared valuable guidance on the why, when, how, and who is best suited for ultrasound-guided interventions.

He currently provides a service twice a month at Sportsmed East, where he delivers ultrasound scans and ultrasound-guided injections. This service is available via our referral pathway following assessment by one of our clinicians.
