Hazeldell is a residential home for the elderly, situated in one and a half acres of established grounds located off a private road on the outskirts of Ipswich. The main frontage and entrance was originally a 3 storey Victorian family house and there is extensive purpose built single storey accommodation to the rear. We have a spacious garden area and have added some raised beds to enable resident

s to grow their own flowers/vegetables should they choose. The Home has been beautifully furnished and our onsite handyman ensures the decor is regularly updated to keep the Home looking fresh. About Us & Our Home

Hazeldell is suitable for ladies and gentlemen over 65 year of age. We are registered with the CQC, under their code OP, which generally covers anyone who has need for assistance with personal care, or mobility, or just some supervision if they are experiencing difficulties on their own due to their age. We are also now registered for Dementia care. We have accommodation for 40 elderly residents. The home has three lounges (a quiet room, a music room and a television room), a large conservatory, a 28 seat dining room, a ‘quiet’ sitting area, a bathroom with a Malibu assisted bath (fitted with electric hoist), shower room (with access for disabled), and a hairdressing room. What We Offer

We have a dedicated activities person who organises entertainment for the residents to enjoy. We also hold an annual garden party, Christmas party and at other special times throughout the year, with friends and family of Hazeldell always invited to participate should they wish. Various forms of entertainment are arranged through the year, including visits from professional singers/entertainers, garden parties, special occasion lunches and teas, afternoon activities (quizzes, games, putting etc), walks out in the summer, and occasional trips to the 'Songs of Praise' at Hintlesham. We are proud of the food and drink offered to our service users, as fresh local produce is used for the meals and our cooks always ensure we have freshly baked goods on offer too. We have achieved a 5 star rating for our kitchen facilities and food preparation area.
