🧽 Job Title: Part-Time Cleaning Operative
📍 Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk
💷 Pay: £12.65 per hour
🕒 Hours: 20.5 hours per week
🗓 Schedule:

Monday: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Tuesday to Friday: 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM

🔧 Your Role Includes:
✅ Performing daily cleaning duties as per site schedule and checklist
✅ Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and glass cleaning
✅ Using equipment like buffers, scrubber dryers, and vacuums
✅ Providing cover for holidays when needed
✅ Keeping work areas spotless and safe
✅ Maintaining and storing equipment properly

🎁 What We Offer:

GR Grimme The Cleaning Company is looking to employ a reliable Cleaning Operative in Felixstowe. We are looking for the candidate to be flexible and efficient within their job role. Must have a valid driving license and a form of transport to reach the location.
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Shift Pattern
Monday 9am-2pm
Tuesday 9am-12.30pm
Wednesday 9am-2pm
Thursday 9am-2pm
Friday 9am-12pm
Hours: Monday to Friday 21.5 per week
Full training provided
Uniform provided
28 days paid holiday entitlement inclusive bank holidays
Paid monthly on or about the 30th of each month

What will the Industrial/Factory Cleaning Operative do?

Clean offices, toilets, and an industrial factory area to an excellent standard.
Will be required to use rotary machines to scrub floors.
Emptying bins, wastebaskets and recyclables and transporting to designated disposal or recycling area.
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners.
Thoroughly cleaning wash basins, toilet cubicles and all toilet fittings.
Dusting/polishing all furniture and equipment.
Wiping any furniture, cleaning rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery.
Promote good health and safety practices.
Relief holiday cover.

What does the Industrial/Factory Cleaning Operative need?

Industrial cleaning experience is preferred however full training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail.
Flexible and an enthusiastic approach to multiple tasks.
