One of the first things to go when I'm struggling is cooking nourishing food and making sure I'm fueling myself with everything my body needs to get through. I feel so tired and heavy I just haven't the energy to prep and cook so end up snacking and eating rubbish, which makes me feel even worse... ah the perpetual cycle!

What's really stupid about the whole thing is that I actually love cooking and find it really relaxing!

Still very much in my Wintering, but trying to support my mind and body as we're beginning to reawaken.

Feeling this right now, the need to step back, go inwards, take stock, reflect and rebuild.

It's so hard in today's hustle culture to be able to do this, the realities of the 9-5, the many expectations placed on us in the roles we hold, our own expectations of ourselves.

I'm yearning for a simpler life, a more considered life, a life rooted in the land and the people and practices that ground me and hold me in this way.
