Our Story
The Medpac Story - a note from the founder.
The idea for Medpac was born from a personal need!
When my daughter was diagnosed with a condition that required her to carry medicine with her at all times, I was suddenly faced with the challenge of how to manage this.
As well as needing to carry it with us at all times, the school needed two sets of the medication with photo ID and a treatment plan.
After using an old make-up bag that I embarrassingly handed over at parties and clubs, I soon began to realise I was not alone, and so I designed Medpac.
To suit the many uses that I could identify for Medpac it had to be:
- Easy to find in the bottom of a bag/classroom/sports club etc
- Easy to identify who the medicine belonged to in an emergency
- Durable and hardwearing
- Affordable
And so - Medpac was born - a sturdy, secure, and lightweight pack which allows you to carry your medication with you at all times. The bright orange colour makes the Medpac easy to find, and the Medpac ID Card allows the Medpac to be easily identified to the owner, who may be unable to do so themselves in an emergency situation. The Medpac Treatment Card stored inside gives you the opportunity to add all vital information and a care plan therefore aiding the medicine being administered as quickly as possible.
The Medpac Wristband further helps to easily identify the wearer as someone who needs access to emergency medicine.
