Congratulations to Richard who completed his fundraising challenge of cycling 1,000 miles in 30 days in memory of his father-in-law, who originally got him into cycling 🚴

Richard has cycled across the county in the heat, wind and torrential rain, as well as cycling on a static bike at the hospice in Ipswich to clock the miles. Today, Richard completed his fundraiser with his friends & family celebrating at the finish line in Trimley, with over £1,000 raised for St Elizabeth Hospice 💜

Richard said upon finishing the challenge: "The last 300 miles has been quite emotional for me thinking about the reason why I am doing this but I am really happy with the achievement. I love the fact that all my friends and family are here to celebrate with me at the finish line. All the money will go to the hospice and it’s great to know it will help someone else in need of their care". ✨

A huge congratulations and thank you to Mark Simpson, who walked over 88 miles in under 40 hours in the Yorkshire countryside, to fundraise for St Elizabeth Hospice! 🚶👣

The challenge, from Ilkley near Leeds to Windermere, took place over four days (and involved carrying kit which weighed 3.5 stone) through all kinds of weather, raising a fantastic £1,130. 👏

A special thank you to the talented artists who donated beautiful ceramics to the sale, held over a week at Artspace in Woodbridge.

Every penny will help make a big difference to our services in the local community. 💜
