July marks Disability Pride Month, an important time to celebrate acceptance and visibility.
Sadly, people with disabilities are significantly more likely to experience abuse - including sexual violence. This is exacerbated by barriers such as ableism and inaccessibility to support which increases the risk even further.
During Disability Pride Month, we honour pride, but we also highlight that safety and justice must include everyone.
