A huge happy birthday to Park View Care Home!

Today marks 14 years since we officially opened, and we truly celebrated in style with an amazing ABBA-themed birthday party.

A huge thank you to Chelsea Francis for performing for us — she had everyone up dancing and singing along.

A special thank you also goes to our wonderful wellbeing team, Lorraine, Gemma and Krystal, who never fail to make every occasion so special and truly bring Park View to life.

Thank you as well to Amy and the kitchen team for the delicious food, cocktails and incredible birthday cake.

Most of all, thank you to the whole team for getting involved, dressing up in ABBA outfits and helping make the day so memorable.

Safe to say, we all had an amazing time!

What a fantastic first week of Photography Week at Park View Care Home!

Our residents loved exploring old cameras, taking photos, and looking through treasured pictures from the past. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and memories being shared.

A huge well done to Krystal from our wellbeing team for making the week so special!

📸 We’re looking for donations of old cameras at Park View Care Home!

We’re excited to be starting a new photography group for our residents and would love any cameras that are no longer being used.

If you have an old camera at home that you no longer need and would be happy to donate, it would be greatly appreciated and put to great use.

Residents at Park View Care Home loved spending time with our wonderful wellbeing team member, Gemma, learning all about wildlife.

We had a fantastic time making fat balls, painting birdhouses, and marking off all the different birds we spotted along the way.

We absolutely love Krystal’s art club at Park View Care Home! Lately, we’ve been exploring the garden for inspiration, finding beautiful things to draw while relaxing and showing off our artistic talents.

These sessions are always so therapeutic, and we really enjoy the creativity and calm they bring.

What a fantastic day we had at Park View Care Home! 🎉

We kicked things off by picking our winning horses for the Grand National — plenty of excitement and friendly competition all around 🐎

Then came the big match, and we cheered on the boys in blue as they secured a brilliant win over Norwich! 💙⚽

To top it all off, we raffled an Ipswich Town home shirt, raising money for the ITFC Foundation — a wonderful cause that made the day even more special.

A great time shared by all, full of smiles, laughter, and community spirit!

Wow — what an egg-cellent Easter weekend we had at Park View Care Home! 🐣🌸

From exciting Easter egg hunts to delicious baking sessions (and plenty of hot cross buns!), there was something for everyone to enjoy. Our Easter raffle brought lots of smiles and a bit of friendly competition, and the weekend was made even more special by the fabulous Harry, who had us all singing along and tapping our feet! 🎶

Safe to say, it was a weekend full of laughter, treats, and wonderful memories — one we won’t forget anytime soon! 💛

This morning at Park View Care Home, our fabulous wellbeing team turned up the fun with a slightly different kind of Easter egg hunt! 🐣✨

We headed over to the beautiful Chantry Park, where the eggs were carefully hidden and ready to be discovered. 🌳🥚

Judging by the smiles, laughter, and excited faces of our residents, it’s safe to say it was a huge hit! 💛 What a wonderful way to enjoy the fresh air, great company, and a little Easter magic.

This morning at Park View Care Home, our fabulous wellbeing lead has been hard at work preparing for Easter! She has beautifully decorated the Easter trolley, ready for the Easter Bunny to deliver treats to all our residents.

She’s also been busy getting everything organised for the Easter raffle, which will take place on Easter Sunday. It’s shaping up to be a lovely celebration for everyone involved!

What a lovely morning at Park View Care Home! Our wonderful wellbeing team took residents for a stroll around the local shops. Everyone enjoyed browsing and finished off with a relaxing cup of coffee. The perfect way to blow away the cobwebs and enjoy the fresh, crisp air!

Easter is in the air at Park View Care Home! Our talented Head Chef has been hard at work baking fresh, delicious hot cross buns for residents, staff, and families to enjoy this Good Friday.
