Are you still working from home?
Despite the pandemic workplace restrictions being quite some time ago, there are many people working from home with poorly set up workstations.
I can help! Watch this space for more information / advice or drop me a message if you’d like more information on workstation assessments - face to face or on-line.

As many of you know, I have been happy working at Willaston Physio in Bromborough for over 3 years! We are relaunching Willaston Physio for Business with a complementary breakfast meeting on Thursday 20th October at 8am at our Bromborough Practice (Gateway House, Old Hall Road).
We are seeing increasing numbers of clients experiencing discomfort at their neck, shoulders, backs and knees particularly since the pandemic.
Everyone one welcome! Please email sharon@willastonphysio.co.uk for a place.

20 years as a Physio this summer! I don’t even know how that is possible! I’ve met and worked with some amazing people through these 20 years and been lucky to work with so many lovely clients.
My hope always for my work is for clients to leave a session reassured, empowered and more comfortable.
My work journey has seen me work over much of the North West and North Wales and the last two-and-a-half years sees me the closest to home I’ve ever worked , where I’m very happy
Here’s to the next 20!

Happy inbetween Christmas and New Year! I’m back working tomorrow at Willaston Physio after a lovely few festive days.
Today has been a special day with unexpected snow for an outdoor birthday meet and this evening there is a moon halo!

It’s hard this year to be gushing with Merry Christmas wishes, it feels insensitive; Everyone’s Christmas this year will, no doubt be different: People will be absent, there won’t be the various traditional meetings of friends and families over a four or five day period.
I keep seeing the phrase- ‘we are all in the same storm but all in different boats’ it’s so true... we don’t know what is going on behind what is visible with anyone, more so at the moment. It makes it even more important to be kind and nice.
I continue to be extremely grateful to for providing a safe working environment and I feel very lucky to have been able to work since June.
With the kindest wishes to you all for a Special and no doubt memorable Christmas ###

Today is Social Media Kindness day! It’s something I try and ensure on every post and comment I do. I always read and re-read a comment or post before uploading it. I’ve seen instances a lot recently where it’s clear people are on a shorter fuse, or are lonely or just mentally vulnerably. It’s more important than ever to think before we type. Social media might be some peoples only social contact. Let’s make it be something they can smile about.

Today a client came in at the end of the day saying she’d forgotten it was bonfire night when she booked her appointment and was worried about her dogs whist she was out.
To calm their nerves she’d put an episode of midsummer murders on which they’d seen before !
Made me chuckle!

It is a huge relief that we are able to stay working during the next lockdown.
I continue to be grateful to Willaston Physio for their professional approach to the new systems we’ve had to implement. Please do get in touch for an appointment on 01513273361

Further to the new lockdown rules, please be advised that we are allowed to stay open. We are delighted that we are able to continue to treat all of our clients in both of our clinics. Please remember we are still offering remote sessions either by telephone or video call. If you would like to discuss an appointment or you would like more information regarding our safety procedures then please call the admin team on 0151 327 3361.

I’ve never been keen on the phrase ‘it’s ok to not be ok’.
I don’t want anyone to not be ok. However, I want it to be completely normal and easy to say that you’re not ok.
Life has never been so uncertain, so inconsistent, so out of our comfort zones. I hope my friends, family and wider network know I am here to listen, to talk and to support.
Never have we needed so much to be comforted, supported and understood.
We are all walking in different shoes and I think we all need care and consideration on some level and I hope at this time we can all listen and be listened to without judgement.
