Paediatric First Aid
Myself and my husband were updating our Paediatric first aid course last week at the Solaris Centre Blackpool as foster carers. The course was delivered over three days by Maggie, we had recently had a very scary experience with a baby in our care and had to perform life saving CPR so the course instantly brought out some emotions that we didn’t know were there. Maggie instantly picked up on this and kept a check on us throughout. She was absolutely brilliant in the way she delivered the course and we feel much more equipped and knowledgeable to deliver first aid than we ever have before. She was professional, incredibly knowledgeable and made the course fun and enjoyable. On the final day a gentleman in the cafe had a cardiac arrest and Maggie proved just how amazing she was and put her knowledge and skills to instant use performing her first ever life saving CPR and guiding us all in helping too, I’m sure it’s not a day of a first aid course that she wants to repeat but totally proved she’s doing exactly what she’s brilliant at doing. Well done Maggie keep doing what your doing your a credit to the First Aid Academy and you should be extremely proud of yourself

The training course was delivered by Maggie magnificently she was first class throughout. Even when we had our own medical emergency she stayed fully focus and coached us throughout it. I would fully recommend anyone thinking of doing this to take this course and enjoy it cause we certainly did. Thank you Maggie you were amazing
