The Old Rectory Clinic is an exclusive, private Mental Health and Wellbeing Centre. We provide a warm, welcoming, therapeutic environment where our clients feel comfortable, safe and supported. The clinic is located within a stunning Grade II listed building with beautifully appointed private consulting rooms, excellent facilities and high quality therapies delivered by specialist practitioners all under one roof. The ethos of the clinic is to provide a space where our clients receive the very highest level of support for every aspect of their mental, emotional and physical health. We provide private therapy room hire for professional therapists and practitioners within the clinic and our beautifully appointed therapy rooms are airy and spacious with ample room for social distancing. All consulting rooms have fully opening windows with natural light; they are sound proofed and decorated and equipped to a very high specification. Clients and therapists can enjoy extensive free onsite parking, and also access to a peaceful private clinic garden. The Old Rectory Clinic is conveniently located for Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester, Bath and the surrounding area. Good transport links for the M32, M4 and M5 motorways and a 10 minute taxi from Bristol Parkway Station.

A very warm welcome to the newest member of The Old Rectory Clinic Team, Physiotherapist, Daniel Taylor. Daniel provides a full physiotherapy service including steroid injections, acupuncture, prescribed medications and a combined physiotherapy/joint manipulation/mobilisation/massage approach, all aimed at relieving symptoms, improving function, and enhancing quality of life.

Our Story

Welcome to the Old Rectory Clinic, which is located in the beautiful and peaceful conservation village of Iron Acton, South Gloucestershire. The Old Rectory Clinic is a friendly family run business run by therapists for therapists and their clients. The owner, Caroline Huish is a Senior Clinical Hypnotherapist and Supervisor and has run her own busy hypnotherapy practice from The Old Rectory for over 10 years. As her family inevitably grew up and moved away Caroline developed the vision of turning the beautiful Grade II listed building into South Gloucestershire’s premier complementary health care clinic. In 2015 Caroline’s ambition was realised with the clinic opening its doors to a wonderful variety of highly qualified and experienced therapists who are all personally vetted by Caroline. The clinic’s ethos is to provide the very highest quality of care in a warm, welcoming and professional environment.

The clinic has four large, airy, well equipped rooms all decorated and equipped to a very high specification with natural daylight. We also run over 15 classes per week for Yoga, Pilates, Meditation and Sound Therapy.

Additionally we offer meeting room hire for local businesses for 1-1 meetings, interviews and supervision. There is also a large multi-purpose meeting room which seats up to 24 people class room style with all the equipment you would expect. This room is suitable for workshops, training events and networking organisations.

There is also a well-appointed spacious reception room. There is extensive free onsite parking, an acre of formal gardens and 15 acres of parkland which can be accessed by clients and therapists. The Old Rectory Clinic is conveniently located for Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester, Bath and the surrounding area.
