In November 2022, 22.0% of young people aged 17 to 24 years in England have a probable mental disorder according to NHS Digital. If you are worried about a young adult, or you are one and are struggling, then it maybe a good time to talk about how to cope. When not addressed, anxiety can become a chronic life time burden. I aim to help you understand anxiety and how to cope which can just help make life easier.

About the Peterson Practice

It’s not uncommon to feel as if something is holding you back from doing what you really want to do. Maybe you want to be more in control of your feelings - managing stress or anxiety so that you can be more successful in your work or personal life? Perhaps it’s related to losing weight, personal or sports performance or even giving up smoking?

You may well have tried a few things…perhaps you have read self-help books, listened to podcasts or focused on meditation and relaxation. All of these are perfectly valid and might have given you an outlet or some techniques that you’ve found useful.

Sometimes though, it doesn’t quite get you to where you want to be and that’s where personalised one to one help (which is impossible to get from a book or podcast) comes in.

I am Peter and I am passionate about helping people to overcome the challenges that hypnotherapy and psychotherapy can conquer. I love working with people of all ages from teenagers and young adults to older clients (my oldest so far has been 95). Whatever you would like to change I would be delighted to see you and start the journey with you, whether it is lifting your self confidence, managing you anxiety, helping you cope with life or taking back control.
