                                            What you’re seeing here is the muscle reacting in real time during a deep sports massage.
That twitch or spasm isn’t random ; it’s the muscle spindle reflex kicking in. When a tight muscle is pressed deeply, it contracts to protect itself. By holding that pressure and slowly moving along the muscle belly, I’m helping the nervous system realise it’s safe to relax , that’s why you see it release.
Then I add cupping, which does the opposite of deep pressure. Instead of pressing in, it lifts the skin and fascia away from the muscle. This frees up any restriction, improves circulation, and restores normal glide between layers.
The combination of compression (massage) and decompression (cupping) helps the muscle reset, improves movement, and speeds up recovery.
