In this session, I carried out a deep sports massage treatment in the client’s home, focusing on the back, biceps, subscapularis, and surrounding shoulder structures.
This was an intense and uncomfortable treatment for the client — but sometimes, when dealing with long-standing restrictions, pain, and compensation patterns, effective work isn’t always comfortable.
By releasing the tight tissues around the shoulder and restoring movement where it was restricted, we were able to:
• ✅ Improve shoulder range of motion
• ✅ Reduce pain and restriction
• ✅ Address the root cause of the shoulder issue rather than just symptoms
