Unfortunately I have made the hard decision to close the clinic permanently as I can no longer sustain working 7 day weeks. The clinic is currently closed and I will be shutting the doors on the 31st July.

I want to thank all of you who have attended the clinic, I have loved helping and supporting you all with your hair loss and scalp issues.

All correspondence is up to date and I wish you all the very best, remember to always refer back to your original consultation summarys look at the treatment section if any flare ups occur!

Once again thank you all for your continued loyalty and I appreciate every one of you. Thank you all for understanding.

Today's topic is all about eggs 🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚

🥚Eggs are a great source of protein,
A lack of protein can contribute to hair loss.

🥚Biotin is also found in eggs and is essential for the production of keratin, the main protein found in hair. However do you know biotin deficiency is rare? Normally adequate amounts can be absorbed with a good balanced diet so keep eating those eggs before reaching for supplements!

🥚Eggs are also a great source of zinc,
selenium and other essential minerals.

May is now Fully booked!

Ayrshire Trichology Clinic is very busy at the moment, this is due to such long waiting times at dermatology in the area..

Some local GPs are also advising patients to see me due to these waiting times for hair loss issues !

This is a recurring statement that I hear in the clinic ..
Your GP may state that your blood report is "satisfactory" but do you know they look at bloods differently to a Trichologist ! 🔬
GPs look for blood reports for your vital organs not for optimal hair growth so there can be discrepancies in our findings ! 🔬
Your hair is not a vital organ but it can be the first sign that there is something wrong in the biological function in the body, blood reports help us to see if there are early signs of any problems that can interfere with hair growth !

Blood analysis is part of our extensive consultation process ..🔍🔍
