Beautifully hand-inscribed and with the option to have illustrations added, it offers a lasting way to honour loved ones. For family and friends who can’t visit in person, we have a digital version which means tributes can be read and cherished online, anywhere in the world, at any time.

Well what a day of weather yesterday...today we welcome a new loch. Seriously, this will affect our gardening projects over the next few days. Our work will continue to improve the grounds once the grounds dry out.

I know that the grounds at the crematorium have not been looking their best this year and that is for a variety of reasons some of which were out of our control. The improvements started this week and although we have had weather issues, the ground is really wet, we have started and already you can see that things are improving. Next week we will be concentrating on the riverside area, making sure that the grass is cut, shrubs are pruned and most importantly, private gardens and memorials are tidied up and edged. I want to sincerely apologise that the presentation of our grounds has not met the high standard you rightly expect. We are already working hard on a structured improvement plan to transform the grounds over the next two seasons.

🌿 A Message from Our New Site Lead, Kenny Flemming 🌿

Hello, my name’s Kenny Flemming, and I am honoured to introduce myself as the new Site Lead here at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium.

I want to start by saying I am truly sorry that the presentation of our grounds has not been at the standard you rightly expect. I completely understand how important these spaces are for families, and I share your disappointment.

I want to reassure you that I am fully committed to putting this right. We have already started phasing improvement works across the grounds, and my goal is to deliver a full transformation over the next two seasons so that by spring, the grounds reflect the peaceful and respectful space they are meant to be.

If you have a concern about an individual memorial garden, please email me directly at kenneth.flemming@thecmg.co.uk or call into the office and ask to speak with me. I will personally ensure that your memorial garden is rectified within 48 hours, so that urgent matters are resolved promptly for you and your family while we continue with the wider phased improvements across the site.

A massive thank you goes to everyone who attended our open day today. It was lovely to get to meet so many wonderful people.

A massive thank you goes to our colleagues at Dignity for there funeral plan and bringing the deceased into their care talks.

A call out to the team at Holmsford Bridge for their fantastic tours and knowledge talks for when your loved one reaches our care, and our memorial consultant for leading the way with our memorial options on site.

✨ Letters to Heaven ✨

We’re proud to share that all of our CMG crematoria now have Letters to Heaven post boxes installed on site.

These special post boxes offer families a heartfelt way to stay connected with loved ones they’ve lost, a space to share memories, write messages, or simply say what’s in your heart

📌 Located on the south side of the building

💌 Every letter is private, never opened or read, and through an eco-friendly process, they are gently transformed into compost.

🌱 This compost is then used in our gardens, ensuring that each message becomes part of the beauty and life that continues to grow there.
A small gesture with lasting meaning. Because love never leaves us, and neither do they.
