Bank Holiday Weekend Notice

Please be advised that the Practice will be closed on Friday 19th September and Monday 22nd September for the Bank Holiday weekend. We will reopen on Tuesday 23rd September at 8:30am.

Due to a shortage of clinical staff, we have reached full capacity for appointments today and are operating an emergency-only appointment service.
There is no need to contact the Practice regarding any pre-arranged calls or appointments, as these will proceed as scheduled.

Our Practice will be closed on Wednesday 18th June from 1.00pm for essential staff training. We will re-open at 8.30am on Thursday 19th June.

During this time, The Ayrshire Urgent Care Service (AUCS) will be available on 01563 826930 for any queries which cannot wait until we re-open.

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. Research shows that more than nine in 10 people survive bowel cancer when it’s diagnosed at the earliest stage. Knowing the symptoms is important to help spot bowel cancer early. The earlier it’s found, the more treatable it’s likely to be.

During the month of February we had 57 patients miss their appointment without explanation or notice.

This resulted in 18 hours 30 minutes of wasted appointments.

The surgery telephone lines are currently down. We have an engineer looking in to this and hope to have the lines fixed as soon as possible.
